I found London to be the most expensive place.
Think all big tourist cities are though.
What do you think is the right amount of time for each city, if you are running a jam packed schedule...
What type of holiday are you after sirlothie.........e,g party, sight seeing, relaxing e.t.c?
Sight seeing. Paris, Rome, London, Barcelona,NY... 4 days pushing it?
) for 6 days and decided on the last day to do sightseeing.
I haven't been to New York so I cant comment.......but personally 4 days in London sightseeing would be too much.
I was there for a 7 days partying......never saw the sun (not sure if it exists there) for 6 days and decided on the last day to do sightseeing.
Did it in a day and to be honest I should have caught up on sleep.
Spend more time in Paris if you can. Just my two cents.
P.S If you need anyone to carry your bags I am offering my services.......you lucky bastard!![]()
Lol I'm working 2 jobs for it and sacrificing a lot for a year... Me in my 20's would have partied but now I think I can sink piss here...
Definitely worth the sacrifice.......I heard a great quote a while ago and it has stuck with me ever since.
"A HOLIDAY IS AN INVESTMENT IN LIFE"
4 days in New York will only leave you wanting more.
A full week is probably the max I can allow but I hear it is amazing and unlike anything else.
We only did 4 days in London, and for one full day we went out to a country town.
We spent 6 days in Paris. Not anywhere near enough. A week in the French countryside was good, but again, you could spend a month and not be satisfied.
4 days in Rome sounds about right.
But as you are looking at sightseeing, this goes for all places, the top tourist attractions can be packed. Get skip the line tickets as much as possible. Waiting 45 minutes to an hour or more to get in a lift at the Eiffel Tower is a waste if time. Time that can be better spent walking the Seine.

Yes you still can.I climbed the stairs at the Eiffel Tower. Not sure if you can still do that, it was a while ago...
Yeah I'm doing my research, apparently there is a smaller entrance to the Louvre that not many know about instead of queing out the front all day.... I don't want to waste a second because I may never get back but already paranoid about flight delays and missing flights lol and also getting robbed...
I read once that if you spent 10 seconds looking at everything in the Louvre it would take you over 30 years. Think they included the stuff in the basements as well.Louvre is amazing but you need to be sure about what you want to see. It would take a week to see everything.
