Just watched the replay and holy shitOne of the worst rides youll see all year. Criminal. Horse wins by 3 lengths if a jockey with a brain is riding it. Hope he never gets the ride again on the horse.

I'll be on Alabama E/W - 1x3 playMagic Time overs like she was 4 weeks ago? Doesn’t mind chop in the ground either. Barrier 1 will follow Alabama Lass and hopefully find a gap around the bend.
Lady probably too good for these though.

Skybird got a slot in the Everest???
What a stupid reason to dismiss the protest, because of the margin. Not the fact that you shifted out and could have caused Nash to fall. Nash couldn’t find a gap on this prick of a track, no wonder the margin wasn’t smaller.

Doubt this will happen now
Seems like its just how B365 do it.I have to test something here to make sure I am not going crazy.
I just had $50 on something at $1.90, that dead-heated.
In my head, I assumed the odds would be reduced from $1.90 to around $1.45. Resulting in a payout of around $70.
Bet365 paid me out $47. There are no deductions.
The guy on live chat is telling me that in the event of a dead-heat. They half the stake, not the odds. So effectively, my $50 bet at $1.90, has become $25 at $1.90 - resulting in a $47 payout. Effectively paying my $50 win bet out at less than $1.
Am I going crazy or is that not how dead heats are supposed to work?
I assumed if you bet $50 to get back $90. The profit ($40) is halved. So it would be a $70 return.Seems like its just how B365 do it.
Sportsbet, Pointsbet etc do it as you mentioned.

Fair enough. That's correct from them. Halving $1.90 odds is $0.95 odds not $1.45
The guy on live chat is over complicating things as halving the stake and/or the odds is the exact same thing
In theory anything odds on will return less than your stake when there's a dead heat. Basically just halve (or divide by the number of ties if there's multiple) the total value of the ticket.Fair enough.
It doesn't make sense to me though. There could be an 8-horse dead heat and they should still be paying out at at least $1 (money back) on each winner.
