Thank you!.

As far as some of the other replies. It is one thing to disagree, that is what a thread is for, different points of view. It is another to belittle. Saj_21 amongst others, i have many years of football coaching and management under my belt, successfully, and whilst i would never claim to be an expert, i do know promise and potential when i see it. Who knows whether that will make him an AFL player, let alone a gun, but it does make him worth a very serious look IMO(opinion; that is all it is)

You seem feely confident in Temel. What do you like about his game? Why will he make it at AFL level?

IMO he will definatly get picked up, somewhere late in the 3rd round but probably not inline with our picks.

You don't want him and you don't have any clue about him. That was my point. I am not sure that you know anything about him! So how can you make up your mind? Lets face it, everyone on this site pretends to be some kind of expert, except they know jack shit. I reckon the football operations department have a far better idea of every players potential than a couple of keyboard heros.

The point is nobody here knows the potential of any of these players or would have the slightest clue. Perhaps you should maybe shutup rather than look like piss eeak idiot.

Well, your assumptions with regard to members on site & their opinions is extremely interesting.

Of course the Football Dept would have much more inside info as to the potential draftees, if they didn't, then we would have a worry.

I don't care if you don't like what some people write about (sometimes I'm feel the same way), it is easy to just skip over some of the statements or even better LEAVE THE SITE....

Most of the time everyone here gets along well (don't we BS ???), let's hope you just had a bad day & your aggression towards fellow Melb supporters ceases immediately....

Who knows if he will make it? What he does have though is great body positioning, and use of his body, strong hands, and a good read of the play. He also has size, and i think would make a good target forward. He does need to get fitter and work on his kicking, but 20 goals in finals is not too shabby. He probably will go later than 18, and players like Vardy, Gawn, Talia,Black and a few others may be better options, but you never know. If i was going to take an educated guess i would go with him over many others. Majak Daw also comes up regularly, but think he is more likely to be a rookie list project with someone. There are also some very good 20 somethings around worth another look like Matthew Laidlaw.

What was laughable was when you said "if he is still around at 11"...no one and i mean NO ONE has even put temel close to their top 50 in their phantom drafts. This is in the papers with experts such as Sheehan, Matt Burgan and Emma Quayle, not to mention the numerous amount of phantom drafts on the Drafts and Trading boards.

So you think you know better? and disprove almost every person who has done their phantom draft?

I don't claim to be an expert, but i know plenty about footy and its no always easy to project your exact thoughts, beliefs and theories through typed messages.

I am 23 have played for 18 of those years and some of that at under 16 and uner 18 TAC level and have played with 10 or so guys through school footy and TAC footy that have been drafted. Ive seen the level and requirement needed to make it to AFL.

Whilst only seing limited vision of Temel, he is man playing a "kids" game so to speak, definitely will be taken as if he builds his engine and can adapt to playing against bigger bodies could be a good late pick up for a club.

Fair call i may have been exaggerating a little, though you may find he has crept up those lists a little.Who knows? i guess in three or four years he will be playing senior AFL football or maybe EDFL.
