Pie 4 Life
Hall of Famer
That's right everybody, it's time to congratulate serial_thrilla notching up a ton, with the former Dragons captain celebrating his 100th game against the Gold Coast City Royals. Known for finishing second in the beez for multiple years, at least this week the gun all-rounder will not have to worry about any other milestones overshadowing his big day!
A THRILLA CAREER
The one-club Dragon might only be notching up his 100th game, but he has felt like he has been around for far longer with his impact on the Dragons as a whole. In those action-packed 99 games, he not only took over the reigns from AceAndy (who in his own right transformed the Dragons) but filled the massive shoes and went to another level. Though not in the leadership group anymore - earning a well deserved break, serial_thrilla is a beloved member of the team.
He has spent time in all roles from the midfield to defence and even up forward, becoming the 23rd Dragon to reach the 100-game milestones. By the end of the season, serial will move into the Top 20 of all games played by Dragons and eighth most of current Dragons.
TIMED TO PERFECTION
Having missed out on the Season 28 premiership entering the league in Season 29, serial_thrilla has not missed a game in a really successful period for the Dragons, whipping up the 100 games in five and a half seasons that memorably included the Season 32 Grand Final and going one step shorter than reaching a second successive grand final last year. Boasting a 53.54% win record, serial's best seasons came in his first two, then unselfishly moved himself into defence in order to give younger players a chance.
For the statistical buffs, serial_thrilla will celebrate his 100th game alongside four teammates who have played every game with him in Pie 4 Life, Ljp86, Knifey Spoony and Strigoi.
Congrats on a terrific 100 games serial, and here's to many more!
