A good night with Juve winning 2-0 on the road to Sassuolo and Sampdoria knocking off Roma. Higuain and Khedira gave us the early two goal buffer and then we just seemed content to knock it around for the next hour and a bit. Lead back out to 4 points with a game in hand.
Milan also losing was just a added bonus:D

Great weekend for Inter and Juve with Roma, Napoli, Milan, Fiorentina, Atalanta and Lazio all dropping points

Big opportunity lost by us to go equal 2nd, very disappointing to draw at home with Palermo. Just one of those games where our finishing was below par. Insigne missed a golden chance in the 95th min to win it

Also, Diego Simeone's son, Giovanni, has now scored 10 goals this season for Genoa... i really like the look of him, got loads of potential.

How was Mandzukic's back heel to set up Juve's opening goal. Exquisite! Terrific dummy by Dybala for Khedira's goal.

Roma would be very disappointed throwing away 2-1 lead. Another of their switch off patches that's happened a few times this season.

Lazio knock Inter out of the Coppa 2-1 at the San Siro. Miranda sent off with a straight red and penalty to gift Lazio a 2-0 lead before they were also reduced to 10 men and had to hang on.
Sets up a possible Rome derby in the semis

Can the Milan teams go back to these kits instead of those predominantly black kits

Not even going to mention Inter's away kit.

Pretty impressed with Roma's win this morning. Destroyed Fiorentina. Nainggolan's goal was an epic team goal and his control superb.

Inter should have scored a few in that first half against Juve. Juve looked a little off their game but still got the three points.

Comfortable 2-0 win at Crotone this morning in our catch up fixture. Back to a 7 point lead at the top

Bologna WTF?
Playing at home and with Milan down to 9 for the last half hour and you cough up the only goal of the game in the 90th minute

Poor Bologna have had the worst last few days imaginable  7-1 loss on the weekend and now losing to 9 men.

That save by Donnarumma in the second half was insane!

Also, the race to be top scorer is going to be an interesting one with Higuain, Dzeko, Mertens, Icardi and Belotti all in the hunt.

At least they're 13 points off the drop in mid table, the current total they're on in 27 may be all they need

Very disappointed in Palermo, they're supposed to be the 2nd biggest club in Southern Italy yet have served up tripe regularly over the last 5 years. Really hope they get their s**t together and find some elite young prospects again to build around for a few years before they're inevitably sold, like they were doing around 2007-2011 before it went downhill with Cavani, Pastore, Illicic etc

Higuain yet to take a penalty either, might need to hand the reigns over to him if we ever get awarded one
