It's a more difficult to pin specific influences for a "Brit Pop" band, but there's no doubting they're there.

Some bands you can just say, "Oh, well these guys are clearly Ramones fans!".

Still, you can see influences of Radiohead everywhere, it is more subtle. If you want direct flattery, The Muse and Coldplay are a start.

When you've written three of the best albums of all time (The Bends, OK Computer and Kid A) and the whole music world bats off over them, then you're bound to have some form of impact. That impact may not be immediate and due to the vast diversity of their premier works, it mightn't even be close to being obvious.

It's easy to mimick a Ramones song, but where do you start mimicking Radiohead?!

Pick any Muse album for starters.
Ah, see.....Muse went on to make Origin of Symmetry.

Radiohead gave us Kid A.

Muse quickly moved waaaay out in front, by doing what comes naturally and not fretting over trying to make music that was different for the sake of it.

Back on topic...Radiohead have a clear influence over plenty of bands up to OK Computer. Since then they've probably been less direct. They're encouraging what were typically 'indie kids' to listen to the likes of Aphex Twin, Buck 65, Peaches et al...so when those kids start their own bands, the boundaries have already been widened.

I agree on Muse and they are probably my fave band in the world now, after Radiohead being No1 for years.

I was going to name bands like Aphex Twin and Auetechre, but wasnt exactly sure who influenced who there.

Whilst I love Origin of Symmetry, it's not worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence as Kid A. It's class levels below!

If you view Kid A as being different for different sake, then I can only hope you rediscover it in a different light later on.

The boundaries have been widened. Even now, the boundaries are almost impossible to pick, unless you target genre fundamentalists. Radiohead have had some influence in this regard, and probably a very big influence, but like all movements, it was probably going to happen anyway.

To cut a long story short, they're very influential!
