Carlos must play as a KP defender. It is where we need him most and is also his best position.
CHB, match up permitting
Gotta be backline, like a previous post said, match-up permitting. I would like to see us put some faith in him and play him on the 'Gorilla's'. He has the size, strength and athleticism IMO.

Can't stress enough how badly i want him in the backline. For team balance more than anything else. IMHO he's our only player who can match up on those big forwards such as Gehrig (whose now retired thank god) and Lynch
I think Rocca is another one. If he were to play in the backline, what other players do you all think he would play on?
There's plenty, some big forwards include Jonathan Brown, Rocca, Lloyd (although not as big and strong as others), maybe Mooney, Neitz, Lade if he pushed forward, Hall, maybe Richo, Lynch etc
Pretty much he can play on different types of forwards, and although a lot of those names we have other blokes to play on, some of them i would only think setanta could stop. Ie Rocca has shown time and time again he can kick big ones on us, as did Gehrig, and Brown

Its Pretty simple...he should play on the forward that has the most influence on the game...whether it be at FB or CHF

That's pretty much right. These days the best key defender usually plays on the best forward regardless of position. For example Glass and Rutten are both FB's but play on the best foward from every side whether they be CHF or FF.
I think a lot of people think of Setanta two seasons ago when they think of him playing forward. He showed last year he is actually very dangerous around goal and whilst I would have him play up back on some occasions, I would play him forward more often.
The likes of Franklin and Reiwoldt will be matched up by Waite, so play Setanta forward. JB will be matched up by Setanta, so play Waite forward. These two will both be true utilities this year.

Tbh, Carlton just have to find him a position and keep him there.

Some players are quite simply true Utilities, and there is such need for them in todays game.
Kouta was what you could call the prototype utility, being able to play in every possible position, from KB, KF, Ruck, OnBall and Wing...that very rare even today given that Kouta wasn't KP hight, or atleast the hight you would want as KP aprox 195cm.
The best person to compare Setanta to would prob be Ash Hansen, and you can see the effect Ash has when he is playing, the whole structure of the Weagles looks so much better. The beautiful thing about Ash is that he is Tall, 198cm IIRC and is equally effect forward as back.
I think we will be seing many players in the future that are 2m and able to play all the positions Kouta could...hell I even watched Kreuzer playing at PP during the carnival. He was playing as a rover...on a stinking, pooring wet day...and still picked up 20 odd touches. Was simply amazing.

I would play him at full back, full back or full back and if that didnt work i would put him at full back.

CHB. FB is more of a dour defending role, even in today's game. Setanta is an athlete with huge pace and a real X factor. Has the size and speed to tackle most forwards, and isn't afraid to run off his man and attack- its his natural instinct. Centre Half Back was made for Setanta.

The forward line, just so i can watch him go nuts n pump his fists when he kicks a goal
He gets into more fights playing FB, so when the fists pump, they connect, prefferably to Lloyds ugly face.

YEAH, but I rode the horse all year, while 99% of people on here have only read about the horse.
It's funny that one of the few that has actually seen a lot of the kids gets censored, over the groupthink mentality.
I remember a poster on here last year called Mojo who preferred Hansen over Gibbs......he went alright judging the kids too.
