Welcome to the Seventh Wonders Inaugral Awards Night
Tonight, the Best Clubman Award, Captains Medal (EKA Medal), Leading Goalscorer, and the main event, the Best and Fairest for Season 2001, the very first season of the Sweet FA/Bigfooty Fantasy Footy League.
First, the Leading Goalscorer will be announced and awarded the medal, which will from then on be named after them. Then the votes for the first 5 rounds will be announced ad the Leader Board shown. After this, the Best Clubman will be announced. A short intermission will follow. Then the next 5 Rounds will be given, the new leaderboard shown and then the EKA Medal winner will be announced. Another short intermission will follow. Finally, the last 4 rounds votes will be given, tallied and the Third Runner up, Runner Up and Best and Fairest Winner will be announced, and the medal renamed after them.
Enjoy your food, and remember the 20% fee of all alcohol on the premises, which can be given to me. And the rule has changed, NO PLAYER may get drunk, I remembered our performance after our first bye, in which we got drunk on that weekend.

With a total of 49 Goals and 32 Points Roger easily was the Leading Goalscorer, but I guess that comes as a given, being the full forward. But Still, great work in Front of the Big Sticks, and next season, you may find yourself in other positions too, namely CHF.

Eagle Fan
Eagle Fan had an excellent year at Full Back / Centre Half Back. Was definitely our best backman (or should I say backwoman), whenever the ball went into the backline we could count on her to do all she could to get it out, and too another of our players. Will be added to our leadership as another Vice-Captain next year.

I'm humbled by this award, I still can't believe I've won!
I would firstly like to thank the Seventh Wonders Football team, a great bunch of people, I couldn't have got anywhere with the support of my teammates. Comiserations to Roger The Sheep and vanders. I would also like to thank Eagleskickass, an inspiration captain, motivated me to push further and further, realising my potential.

What can i say, im honoured to be recieve an award like this from a club that i hold so dear to my heart.
I'd like to thanks my team-mates, everyone at the club, my mum and dad, my dog, and most of all, i'd like to thank my left foot. Without that left foot of mine, i would never have made it this far in my career, and never found myself at such a great club.
Most important to me at this time though, is that The Mighty Wonders can go all the way this year and take home the Sweet FA flag.
