National SevenWest (Ch7) & SCA (Triple M) to merge

It was announced today that SevenWestMedia, owner of AFL fta broadcaster 7, and Southern Cross Media, owner of FM-radio AFL broadcaster Triple M, intend to merge early next year pending regulatory approval.

Cross promotion would be an obvious outcome, and there is already some overlap of AFL 'talent' with JB & BT.

But could we see, say, Triple M callers and/or programs appearing on Ch 7, or vice versa?

Unless they go totally state based calling they've just about maxed out the cross-promotion talent element. Between Brayshaw, Taylor, Nicholson, Thomas, McCarthy, Ryan Daniels, Xavier Ellis
