Part of the reason for the delay was the writers strike so don't count on them having extra time .
I also heard originally Ben stiller was meant to hand over the reigns to someone else after s1 but he and Apple have had a change of heart and he's involved in s2 as well, that's also caused a delay because they have to work around his schedule.

There have been shows that have released three seasons since i last saw severence. Writer strike didnt impact them all that much.

Mid January 2025. It’s very bingeable. I try to space episodes out in general but I couldn’t with Severance. I will admit the concept does feel a bit trivial at first though

I haven't seen many bad ones. Honestly, just search youtube. There's a guy called the recap guy (I think) who i enjoyed and he slid a few jokes in too but that might not be for everyone. Some are shorter. Some are longer. Just hit what you think should cover it in the time you're prepared to spend.
