Club information:
Name: AFL ALL-STARS
Colours: White and Gold
Homeground: Melbourne Cricket Ground (See Here)
Location on the Sweet FA MAP: Melbourne, Australia
Club List:
Total: 92
What is the brand of the club?
The AFL ALL-STARS is a long-established brand in the Sweet FA being formed way back in Season 7 consisting of the best and brightest players of the AFL. They defeated Roys FFC by 33 points in their official game, that's right even back then the Roys were s**t at Qooty. The AFL ALL-STARS did not feature in Season 8 but returned in Season 9 for its second season. With a grand total of ZERO premierships on the board the AFL ALL-STARS has as illustrious a history as the Gold City Royals and the Coney Island Warriors.
How will this bid affect the existing clubs?
This bid will have very little impact on existing clubs as this bid will consist of 100% new players which means all existing clubs will be able to hold onto their own players. In fact, the AFL ALL-STARS can do even better as the talent pool this bid has access to is unprecedented - the initial 91-strong club list is more than enough to fill 3 squad lists three times over and only a small fraction of the talent pool! This means that the size of the talent across the board will be grown dramatically.
If you're captaining a struggling rabble like Test Tickle, Barrybran, Agent93 or AceAndy and you desperately need more players. It will be comforting to know that by admitting the AFL ALL-STARS into the league for S30 will mean that your club can be subsidised by the surpluses of the AFL ALL-STARS for the next 20 seasons!
Why should we admit a team that's not going to be posting? The more activity the better for the league.
Have you ever read a WaynesWorld19 thread? The fact of the matter is that activity and posting could have a positive or negative impact on the league and the enjoyment of its constituents. Let's model the potential net effect on league enjoyment in comparison to the most active club in the competition, the Baghdad Bombers.
As we can see, over time, over time, the more the Bombers post, the less people enjoy the league. This will not be an issue for the AFL ALL-STARS because since there will not be any posts there will not be any net negative effect on league enjoyment which in itself is an improvement on the Bombers.
Given the general trend is that the quality of contribution from the majority of the league is in a continuing nosedive, it is probable that a club which does not post will be in top 3 or 4 most enjoyable clubs to play against within 2 or 3 seasons.
Will the players stick around in the long term?
Yes, there is great certainty that all AFL ALL-STAR recruits will stick around from now until the end of Bigfooty.com, there are also no risks of any AFL ALL-STAR player jeopardising the commercial viability of the site because there is no chance that any player on the list will ever be banned for AdSense violations.
What audience will this expansion cater to?
Good question, in a league where every club is in its arms race to be the spammiest and attempting to whore for attention at every opportunity. The game itself has been pushed by the wayside. The AFL ALL-STARS will bring QOOTY back to the forefront of the league by dedicating the entire brand purely to onfield performance. This will truly have great appeal amongst the silent majority of traditionalists in the league.

Do you think the league has jumped the shark and devoid of any value these days?
Are you Mobbs and totally dismayed that shitposting troglodytery has overshadowed the game itself?
Do you think the league no longer has any capacity to grow because list sizes are stagnating for multiple seasons?
Are you sick and tired of the terrible garbage that weekly match threads get inundated with on a constant basis?
Then the AFL ALL-STARS are the expansion bid for you!
