My daughters new family member ‘Zappa’
He’s a highly trained guide dog but didn’t quite make the cut (chasing, running, more chasing) he likes a good time a little too much He also failed the city test and hated the trams and bustle.
Sadly when I said ‘Oh cool Frank Zappa’ she just stared at me blankly. But he’s super cute and came with like 6 pages of commands he obeys haha. Perfect family dog for young kids.

Hers arn’t but my daughter has 2 Maine Coons, one is in my av but obviously he hasn’t got koala ears
He legit looks like a lion, thats him draped across the roof of a car and there aint much roof left.

God I love Maine Coon cats. I read somewhere that the Maine Coon breed nearly died out some 30 years ago, but thrived due to the work of a couple of breeders and a steady growth in their popularity as pets. I’m really glad they did. I love them. They are seriously massive, yet such intelligent and friendly pets.

Bengals however.. these guys are serious morons and hyperactive morons at that.

I read somewhere that the Maine Coon breed nearly died out some 30 years ago, but thrived due to the work of a couple of breeders and a steady growth in their popularity as pets. I’m really glad they did. I love them. They are seriously massive, yet such intelligent and friendly pets.

Yeah my daughter was on a waiting list for both her MC’s, hugely popular again mainly for their wonderful temperament. And their looks of course.

Reggie is 7 now.

I am working VERY HARD on getting him a sidekick. Friends have just had a litter of Labs, and we have earmarked a girl to complement him. Little choc lab. Just trying to convince the wife it's a good idea. The kids are obviously on board. Fingers crossed I'll have some new pics soon.

Had these 4 girls show up with their mother in the backyard a few years back. They had cat flu (one with severe conjunctivitis) as they'd been born around the start of a 3-week period of torrential rain. Had to take them off her to get them to a vet, so you could say they're rescues of sorts as they needed hand-rearing.

Couldn't find anyone in my social circles to take them, so ended up keeping them all.

None of them, thankfully.

Though the black and white one (Morph) developed a bit of separation anxiety cause I live by myself and would spend half the day at work. Didn't get the ideal amount of socialising as a result. Means she's always trying to sit on me every chance she gets. Adorable, but annoying when trying to work from home.

Got a wonderful Vet around to send Tasha, a gentle and fun loving cat, off to Chairman Miaou.

The vet and I insisted. The 96yo owner ,who pretends to be a rello, was still looking for quack cures.

Asked the Vet if she could help me out with the same glorious sedation and green green green dream. She gave me a hug and told me to GF.

None of us own pets. we simply share time with them. Our job is to contribute to them a fragment of all the joy they give us.
