She was part of a litter where someones cat who hadn't been desexed got out

So both free with no bloodlines like most cats

I was going to say rag doll. That black one has a long face for a cat. He’s kinda cool looking

The little one would be with the kid
The big one would be with me and we had a beautiful girl who would be with my partner.

She loved the big boof and had a more fiery relationship with the little one

Unfortunately she got cancer and had to go to sleep recently

Since then I've had both cats and my partner and kid have had none

I feel bad but apparently I have the warmest lap

Mine are shorthair cats but it doesn’t seem to matter. They do leave fur everywhere. Especially bad with anything that attracts static electricity like tv or computer screens.

I swear that after a good vacuum and clean, I could probably knit a third cat out of what these guys manage to leave around the joint.

They are cats. They tend to choose a person. Often the person who doesn’t make a fuss over them.

The bastard got out the other day. And I mean, my daughter and I were outside and she wanted an ice block so I went inside to get one and told her to watch him.

Next minute…. Gone! Under the neighbours fence. I ran as fast as I could into their yard and he was just on the other side of the fence.

I didn’t know who I was mad at more. Her for taking her she’s off him for a second or him for taking off. Lol

I honestly reckon that is the definition of love. When you get so mad at someone or something that you want to yell at them “do you know how much I suffer when you get hurt or lost!!!”

Oh he’s definitely loved. Emily sits with him for hours on her chest and he just sucks up her warmth while she chats away to her pals on her iPad and plays games.

Only thing is, it’s her that he tends to shit on. Now that is funny bc you hear her dry reaching before the mummmmmmm!!!

Not so little anymore. He’s just come out of brumation (only a week ) and gee we missed holding him everyday but he was awake this morning and had a huge feed, a poop and we sat in the sun and soaked up some warm winter rays
