We are in the midst of an off-season, which means it's time for another Royal Rumble event - SFA ROYAL RUMBLE VI.
Ignoring the tradition of past winners, I will be assuming the responsibility of running this one despite being ripped off in previous incarnations. croweater 41 will be my co-judge so as to avoid any insinuations of bias.
This thread is simply to garner interest and accept entrants. If you're new to the Sweet FA, or new to the Rumble, here are links to the last five: I, II, III, IV, V .
No start date is set in stone at the moment, but I am aiming for July 20. This gives you 48 hours to sign up and prepare yourselves.
No minimum number of participants is set either but I'd like to get at least twenty, maximum will be set at 30 (though this may change dependant on demand). Unlike previous Rumbles, there will be no mystery entrants.
RULES (subject to change once the schedule and # of participants becomes more clear, feel free to discuss them here though, otherwise we're playing it my way)
1. Start time and date sent via PM, there may well be a warning of the start time prior. You must post within 6 hours of your designated entrance time.
2. Entrants will be inputted to random.org and their individual start times will be posted. There will be predetermined hourly gaps between each entrant (with an obvious break for when I am asleep). All times will be AEDT.
3. Entrants will be eliminated for being bested by another poster(s) in the banter stakes, and for general meltiness. This will be entirely at the judge(s) discretion.
4. Entrants have to post at least once every 12 hours or they will be eliminated. Either the judge(s) will see this, or however, you may earn yourself an elimination if you first point it out to the judges after 12 hours has expired that another player has failed to post. First in, best-dressed. (Please note: you can and will be eliminated despite not getting a right of reply, so you can't expect to hide and only post once every 12 hours).
5. Posting before your designated start time will see you be red carded immediately. You must post in the 6 hour window starting from your designated entrance time, or you will be eliminated.
6. If you are eliminated your name will appear followed by a picture of a red card. You will not be able to post again and if you do, you will be instantly threadbanned. This will be a side-thread for discussion. Come in here. Don't be a dick.
7. Only the judge(s) and entered posters will be allowed to post once it officially gets under way.
8. You must be affiliated with a team in the SFA or, have recently departed one to be eligible to compete.
9. Above all else, attacks on the poster and not the persona and unacceptable comments towards each other will see yourself being the person carded. This will be at the discretion of the judge(s) and the mods.
10. The judge(s) decision will be final.
