No it's not, it's worked around individual player performance, statistics are a frame of reference. The effect that a player has on a game is also accounted for, which it isn't in this team.

Otherwise you wouldn't have four players from one losing side playing in the team of the week and just the one from a winning side.
In fantasy footy, the stats are all we have in determining individual statistics. We cannot see it live or watch it on tv to measure performance. Statistics are clearly the best way to measure performance for a team of the week in this form of the game.

Read the commentary.

But in any case, you're not understanding what I'm saying, and why the team EFL's put together is so inherently incorrect.

The sim takes into account the conditions and the amount of actions performed in any given quarter is directly related to these conditions. 20 possessions on a rainy day is just as impressive as 35 on a fine day.

He needs to account for the performance of the direct opponent too. No point having 4 players from a losing team if they haven't done anything to turn the game.

I do understand what you mean, it is just extremely difficult. And I am talking from experience after doing it last week the stats are really all I could go by. And I think you can have 4 players from a losing team if those 4 players happen to be standouts. But I do understand what you are saying, and it all needs to be taken into account.

Yep, this week was always going to be rough as it was the first time.

Thanks for the ideas too Tarks, I have taken them onboard and 15Petterd15 has decided to help me out aswell, I have also spoken to him about what you have said etc.

So next week will be more accurate hopefully.

Cheers. :thumbsu:

As opposed to what? A tight tight situation?
Jesus, I meant lose. If you spent more time worrying about writing something worth while reading then correcting everyones mistakes you would be a semi-decent poster. But for now, you remain a douce bag, with one of the softest outside mids as your user name. Piss off muppet
