Godons81 - 4 possessions. Got moved early and kept his direct opponent possession less.

Half Backs
StatsFanatic - 15 possessions, 7 marks. Played very well in another good win for the Shagons.
One_eyedtiger - 15 possessions, 4 marks, 2 tackles, 3 frees for, 1 free against. Did not have a goal kicked on him and was one of the better players for the Furies on the day.
Thatday - 11 possessions, 4 marks, 1 tackle, 1 free against. Kept direct opponent goal less and was able to rack up 11 possessions in the rain and in a good win.

Midfield
Doggiesin08 - 24 possessions, 6 marks, 4 tackles, 1 goal. Smashed his direct opponents and was very pivotal in a very important Baghdad win.
Breeno - 25 possessions, 6 marks, 2 tackles, 1 free against, 1 goal. Also smashed his direct opponents and played a big role in the Bombers win.
Itsmyshow - 27 possessions, 6 marks, 2 tackles. Absolutely fantastic effort in the rain and smashed his opponent in every single way. Was arguably BOG for the Mods.

Half Forwards
Stakerz - 13 possessions, 6 marks, 3 goals, 2 behinds. Was one of the best for the Hawks.
Shadow Man - 18 possessions, 4 marks, 2 tackles, 1 free for, 1 free against, 3 goals. Amazing game from a CHF, vital to the Shagons win.
SA Hawkette - 20 possessions, 7 marks, 2 tackles, 1 free for, 2 goals. Another terrific performance from a Shagons player.

Forwards
Roylandroos - 5 possessions, 1 mark, 1 tackle, 1 free against, 2 goals, 2 behinds. Stood up when he was needed.
CatmanForever - 8 possessions, 5 marks, 1 tackle, 1 free for, 4 goals, 3 behinds. 4 goals in the wet was fantastic, has been good for the Mods as of late.
Pie 4 Life - 9 possessions, 1 mark, 2 tackles, 4 goals, 4 behinds. Played very well on a day when the Shagons forward line was unstoppable.

Rucks
RangaInTeal - 14 hitouts, 21 possessions, 2 tackles, 1 free for, 4 frees against, 1 goal, 2 behinds. Stood out for the Gumbies on a difficult day.
PerthSwans - 23 possessions, 7 tackles, 7 frees for, 3 frees against, 2 goals. Also stood out and put in another great performance as we have come to expect of him.
Wally - 4 hitouts, 34 possessions, 5 tackles, 5 frees for, 2 goals, 3 behinds. Tremendous effort for the Hawks and was their most consistant performer throughout the day. Got moved into the ruck and handled that very well.

Interchange
Tim_Saints - 30 possessions, 5 tackles, 4 frees for, 4 frees against, 1 goal. His best game for the season and it could not have came at a better time. The game was close and needed somebody to get the ball and deliver to the forwards.
EFL Boy - 5 possessions, 1 free for, 1 free against, 5 goals. Also his best game for the year, and it came when the team needed it and also in arguably Baghdad's most important game for the year.

East Side Hawks - 3
Mod Squad - 2
Mount Buller Demons - 2

Hope that is better guys.

I used the weather, direct opponents and also how the team performed as criteria for selecting the team this week.

Obviously there will be criticism so please tell me what you think, whether it is positive or negative.

Cheers,

efl.

Great job :thumbsu:
The only issue I would have would be Cooney's direct opponent being named as ruck. Cooney's move to the ruck in the last couple of weeks has been a masterstroke and he played a blinder this week!

Oh you guys finally realised hack boy can't play FB? Shock horror.
No, he was playing full back just fine. In fact his record at full back was impeccable in most matches, especially considering the margins we were losing by due to not being competitive enough up the ground. But because our season was over we thought we would free him up in the ruck. It worked.

Impeccable in most matches?

You're telling porkies big time today.
OK, I will try and make this easy for you. Tarks amongst others criticised EFL for his last team as it didn't take things into account other than the stats. Even the stats would say Cooney probably only had 2 or 3 bad weeks where his opponent kicked a decent score. Regardless, he is playing in the bottom team. A team that has won very little games and has had the most points against. If a side is going forward that often, then that full-back will obviously be under the pump more than others. Given the circumstances, Cooney has had an impeccable first season both playing and posting wise. And he is being rewarded with some games to free him up.

Liar liar pants on fire. Honestly just tell the truth. Cooney's had a shit year at FB and his posts are amongst the worst in the comp. See not so hard.

Bull**** mate i have had a great year and my versatility to play in the ruck these last to games and get just about best on ground sounds pretty good to me i don't care that we are last alls that matters is that us Demons boys stick together as a team and one more thing **** off
