Karnezis takes out Grand Prix Hassan II title
AN UNSEEDED player has done the impossible, taking out a title on the SFA Tennis Tour after Karnezis_13 downed second seed Dennis Lopez in two tiebreakers. Both sets were near identical with Karnezis getting a good start to lead 3-1 before Lopez levelled at 3-3. Both players went at it for the rest of the sets, eventually forcing a tiebreaker to split them. The Seychelles player won 7-4 and 7-3 in each set respectively to claim the crown. The victory meant Karnezis has jumped into eighth spot in the rankings meaning he will be seeded at the next tournament.
