No not a few threads noodle just 2, this one and the NT thread. If you like i could ask you first if im aloud to ask these questions, does that suit you better? Correct me if i'm wrong but thats what i thought these threads were all about, discussing where players are going or what players are staying. I did hear a few weeks back that James might not be at the kennel this year. Not sure if there is much truth to it though.

Haven't heard that much on those boys but will be interesting to to hear whats the go!
Can we possibly give names to the few retirees? Quite a number of the older doggies brigade I think fall into that possibly retire stage. Very hard game to give up though

Half back flanker from Sandy has come across to dogland with the new coach, also correct on the Casey ruckman.
There are a few other names that have been thrown around but will just wait till they are finalised as don't want to count our eggs till they've hatched.
Biggest positive is that Dirty Sziller is contemplating going around again, can't stay away from it!

as far as we know, James is playing in the NT league, then comming back to Melbourne to decide to either go again with the doggies or play with some of his mates back in the country league.

i can second that super freak, i think a big reason why clubs are hesitatant to take them on board is because of their father. He gets way to involved in the club in a negative way, always pushing the agenda of his boys and telling anyone who will listen as to how good they are.
Both boys are top footballers and great blokes, its a shame that clubs wary of taking the boys on because of family.

Anyone heard any news on Tooronga Malvern? They seem to be the under the radar club in these discussions. Weren't far off the finals teams last year?
can any stpauls people(someone may have already said and i'd missed it)tell me why they have changed coach? and why there is any question marks over james' future

I thought i read in the paper that Yze is playing at Box Hill.
ward is the only name there signed, carroll is friends with quinn but heard he's back in perth working, heard nothing on poyas but he is good friends with lindsay, jacobs comes to our club every now and then he is good friends with lindsay/oneil but pretty sure he's playing at port colts, yze at box hill. i've been told murray silver looks like a bit of a unit and moves well.

Pretty much Sheppo decided to finish up with a grand final win, and i think the main reason he decided not to go again was to spend time with his new baby girl. Not to mention he had work committments.
There's only question marks over James's future because he is probably unsure as to where he will be next season. From what i've been told, it will most likely be either St Pauls or a team from the country with some mates, where he has grown up. Would be good to have him onboard for 2009 though.
