I realise there will be changes because of availabilities and injuries this was just who i thought were the best that were named in the initial squad from the sunny daily.

With those blokes out or any others of the ones mentioned, who would you replace them with??
 
With these guys pulling out, will they incur the week suspension for not fronting up for league duties??

Boake is injured and cant train. Was Cook in the squad? He was BOG in last year's game so I would assume he would play CHB, FB or 2nd ruck
 
Watched the game on Saturday and Cook didnt look quite up to it, looked a little timid at times.
But with guys pulling out he will more than likely get a game one would imagine and if he was BOG last yr then walder will no doubt pick him.

Rumour at No 1 Sat arvo that irymple have beaten a number of clubs to a new big man soon to arrive in town. If true it should add to there chances considering how they are going and the players still to return to the side.
 
And we all thought you were the man with his finger on the pulse at Irymple. looks like theres a bit going on behind the scenes that you dont know about.
Anyway a bit of investigation reveales that he played for Powerhouse in the amateurs last year. Doesnt appear to have played this year .
 
He is a copper. Rumor has it that he is 6,1-6,2 and plays a bit like Aaron Baynes. If so, that is a pretty good get by the Swallows.

Ha Ha Ha hill.....my role is more around the current players....couple of other people handle the recruiting.....And if he turns is like Aaron Baynes then the recruiting department would score 11 out of 10 for this season.

He might make a good replacement for the boy Ganz. Saw him today and his knee is blown up like a balloon after a accident in school football yesterday. He is a great kid so hopefully the verdict isn't as bad as it looked.

Can someone give me something about the interleague game????

I see that they beat Bellarine today in Donald. No easy feat, considering the Bellarine League are on the outskirts of Geelong and part of Football Geelong. That's a great scalp for the counrty boys, they should be proud. Matt Walder is a great leader, sign him up for the next few years and get him to continue working with the younger blokes as well (V/Line Cup Champs 2011 Div 3????). The SFNL does have the players and facilities to be a top 6 Vic Country league....!!!!

Inter League

A couple of injuries for robinvale out of yesterdays game Jackson and Handreck. Perhaps someone has the details. If these players are out next week then south will get little out of the game (maybe the four points) They probably would rather see how they rated against a full strength eagle side.n
 
With the end of Round 7 have we got a clearer picture of the prospects of the clubs for 2011.
The top 3 are equal on paper and I don't think we'll be able to separate them until the three of them have all played of again. That sounds as if I'm discounting Wenty already. Maybe I am.
Any highlights or lowlights of the season so far.
Perhaps the number of top young locals performing each week.
A lowlight ????
 
Highlights
1. Five local players selected for VCFL training after interleague.
2. Sunraysia moving into the top 10 of the VCFL.
3. Six U/18 players on the Pioneers list
4. The number of good U/18 players lining up for their senior sides, and performing well.
5. South finally coming to the party after all the pre season hype
6. Red Cliffs competitive.

Lowlights
1. The dwindling number of umpires.
2. Injuries to key players (Faulkhead, Petrie)
3. The form and quality of Imps (could be a highlight for some)
