Ok a tad childish with the "fruit cake" quote, I believe everyone is entilted to their opinion but when its referred to individuals

Cardy is in a different league cob, just wonder why you tell the merbein coach your not playing next year because of your knee but are shopping yourself around good to see your still full of it

I'm not playing next year & yes because of my knee i really couldn't give 2 F's about football, life on the other hand is more important to me atm! i may have a kick now & then hmmm i think if u ask walder that's all i told him ill be doing!
 
Well atleast we got some movement on this forum it was dead there for a while.
Anyway so has any teams started pre season? i did hear that ready wont do any pre xmas stuff at all. Any thoughts on this, is it odd for a team not to do any pre-season work pre xmas? I cant remember if Reddy were able to run out games that well, guess Troy would like his players to have done something before pre-season started otherwise they'd have a long pre-season. But then again aren't they all....

Incorrect. Been speaking to a Merbein player and he is still contracted at Merbein. Will wait and see what happens I guess. Maybe a trade of players? SFL Draft !!

Will be interesting if you can keep up with the Millewa boys Fish a lenko. From watching you in the finals and when Merbein vs'd imps this year you did not do much at all. Only time will tell before you crack the shits with the coach at Cardy and skip to another Millewa club.

Agree rigdog remember taj telling everyone that he was going to win a league medal when he went meringur didn't see him get a kick! Fishaspudo poaching Merbein players from what I have been told promising them a flag, wonder how Rolfe feels being assistant to him?
 
Was speaking to a Merbein player at the pub on Friday night and he was telling me that Fish tried to tell Brendan Guy, Merbeins new recruit not to sign with them etc.. Promising him a flag at Cardy haha..

You have got to be serious Fish a lenko ? A couple of seconds players added to your lineup won't win you a flag mate
 
I reckon that the top four SFNL reserves teams would beat all the millewa sides. (controversial?? Do you think?? )​
Many years ago a Millewa league rep side was beaten by a Ressy rep side.​

From what I seen in last years grand final and the games I seen in the sfl I would think the side werrimul had last year would have finished close to tge top 4 in the seniors not reserves!!


Just thought I'd whip these two across from the millewa forum.

Imps + Red Cliffs going from the top of the ladder to the top?!?!

Imps would surely have to win a flag this year! What other clubs have gotten new players that have signed already? I know Mildura has a couple coming back but would they be enough?!?!

Merbein - Brendan Guy, Megs Duscher, Brad Duscher, ??? Maybe Ben?!?! (If he doesn't get drafted?? Should already be playing AFL though..)

Robinvale - ???

Wentworth - ?? Heard they've been trying to throw some money at some kids in the league? ie merbein kids (what I've heard..

From what i know irymple wouldn't be prepared to come to the party financially. There a little tight with the purse strings. They would be looking at filling what they regard as gaps in the side for 2013.
But Delray may know more.

Couldn't create a thread, so I'm just posting in this already made SFL thread!!

My name is Michael Still, i'm a full forward who spent two seasons on Essendon's list, before heading to Werribee in the VFL, I played for West Adelaide Bloods last season. I played a season with them and kicked a few goals to top off a great year!

I have met the love of my life and she has since wanted to move home to Mildura with her family, so I decided to follow!! I may be looking for a team to play for, and stay committed too for the coming seasons. If I do decide to play footy here, I will sign for a two year contract to show that I am committed. I am willing to fit into an 'assistant coach' role, with my playing experience I feel that this may be wanted around here!

I am willing to speak to any clubs interested in some players! Also having talks with my mate who looks like he is moving down here aswell! A forward and a quick midfielder!!

Wanting to do a preseason ASAP to keep fit! (I know that clubs have just started!)
