a Wins a win,

But it seems from the talk on forum that Beena are alot better than first thought

Is it still Clayton by how far for premiers or have Oakliegh Districts taken over as clear cut premiership favourites??

Lets Do some Power Rankings for round 3

1.Oakleigh Districts ( I am still amazed by 46 goals in a game!!! I know that was 2 weeks ago but another massive win this week hast them ontop)

2. Highett ( i know it was only against Lyndale, but 53 scoring shots in those conditions is bloody good football)

3. Clayton (Massive Win against quality Opponents, I think anyone who underestimates the clays will get a huge shock)

4. Skye ( Could be biased, but I thought our win was gutsy, undefeated but at the moment only played 1 of the possible top 5 sides, but all you can do is beat the opponent on the day which the skye boys have done well so far)

5. Murrumbeena (Could be as high as 2 or 3 but because this power poll rankings is for round 3 they drop down to 5, quality side who seemed to be unlucky on the weekend Looks highly likely that the beens will hit the winners list in a big way this weekend)

Special mentions:

Sth yarra for there 1st win of the year in Tough conditions

Caufield, were leading Skye at 3qtr time away from Home and have a very good structure down back which i experienced 1st hand.

Is it going to be crap conditions on the weekend or have some of the lessor teams improved massively

beena by 80 pts???

Ha ha i thought that may raise a few eyebrows ??

My logic on that was that Beena have kicked a few Goals, Round 1, 20 goals, Round 2, 22 goals, Round 3, 15 Goals.
As apposed to Lyndale
Round 1, 3 goals, Round 2, 4 Goals, Round 3, 2 Goals. !
So Clearly Lyndale are having an issue kicking goals and the Beena seem to be The opposite, I dont think the weather will make any difference as The Beena boys are up and about and will still be able to kick 15 to 20 goals, and i dont think Lyndale is capable of kicking more than 6 at best.:D

So your saying that Beena wont be able to kick more than 20 goals against lyndale??

I think the stat you may need to look at is Goals against Lyndale, that may tell a different story, maybe??

TIPS FOR RD 4

Bears over Oakleigh @ Oakleigh by 1 point
- Bears to get home in a ripping game of local footy.

Clayton too good for Yarra @ Yarra
- Could be close depending on the weather at Fritz Holzer Reserve.

Highett way too classy for Rocker @ Highett
- Too many runners for Black Rock

Syke over Ashwood @ Skye
- Skye should get home but Ashy always go alright on their home turf.

Beena easy over Lyndale @ The Beena Arena
-Pumas to get belted at The Arena.

Good luck to all teams and lets hope for no injuries!

Oakleigh by 10 goals??? Caulfield have been playing some good footy and getting stronger every week. Not sure if it will be as one sided as you predict. And have to agree with Peter and The Madman, any win by less than 20 goals against Lyndale this season will be viewed as a failure.

Go Bears

another stat madman, lyndale has probably the youngest side on the park in the sfl.. something that many teams dont have the luxury of, alot of improving will be made throughout the season for sure

Well thats a great thing for lyndale, lets hope they dont get dis-heartened and keep fighting out the year, its easy for young kids to throw in the towel

alot of experience can be gained if they keep goin

They still kicked 5.3 on the weekend, usually when a team gets flogged they dont get scoring oppurtunity's, i noticed a C.Stephens and a A.McCracken get in there best every week also
