They are big losses but what are the gains?? Lindsay is one, Quinn is possibly another. Is Ogier still training down there?? Surely Richard wouldn't allow that quality to leave without fully replacing it??

All recruits are still at training and from my understanding are locked in for 08. Most impressive is Ogiers mate big Jase from Edi-Asp who looks like he will be an absolute gun, and a rather large fella they call Killer who looks like he can play a bit.
The other standout is a mate of Nutters Kirkland- Nath who is a Matty Scarlett look-a-like.
Patty P was the only player who didn't come aboard, but it was expected that he would play with Edi this season.

Roland Roccicelli as a weights and fitness coach doesnt constitute gaining recruits. although chaddles does seem to have an extra spring in his step when roland calls a skinny dipping session.
Mordi should be thanking Highett this year, they are the only reason chaddles and his band of merry pooofs wont be in div 2 next year, and quite possibly div 3 the year after. what a bunch of tripe.

Do you sell the crap that you smoke, because I reckon there would be a lot of interested players around your club that would love to get amongst it! I don't know who Roland Roccicelli is- sounds like he would be a singer from one of those boy bands that you love!

Very few gains, Lindsay will be handy, Quinn? & Ogier has never trained
Turnover is always the case after a flag, plus a couple of those guys have retired, Newman chased a quid and Sal went back to West Adelaide to try and help get them off the bottom

Nath is Nathan Robinson, young kid just out of school. Built like a greyhound and will be very good. Not sure about Killers real name, good bloke though and has fit in very nicely.

I think someone has already said that its Jason Ferraro. Big boy with great motor, like another Ogier which can't be a bad thing.
There is also another tall kid who played at Dromana, although haven't seen him at training for a few weeks so he is an iffy.

Newman is a gun and gun players get gun wages. Colts cant afford to compete with clubs(like yourself) that circle like hyenas and pick the eyes out of clubs with large sums of money. We dont have a stack of cash, we have a few good loyal sponsors and people that work hard behind the sences from the bottom to the top. Not to say the players are innocent, it takes two to tango. It just seems you circle and on hearing a sniff you pounce. But enjoy it cause all good things must come to an end(like rich unliked coaches). And like other clubs we use juniors plus a few imports to have the success we have had and will countine to have due to a core that sticks together and earns respect even though dislike by some of our competiors we still have respect.
