Fair call, new coach at the club doing a huge amount of work generating interest in the club and bringing prospective players down from all levels of footy.
And the club finds the money the same way all div 3 clubs find it, hard work.

Guess it all depends on who the players are, Ashy werent the best last year but certainly weren't the worst, if they can improve a little and recruit a couple of decent players i think they could be up there.

CPL moving like a few old blokes on walking frames. Was checking clearances to see if Barnsey had registered himself yet

I see Hynesy's clearance hasn't been put in. I hear Lucas and him have had a falling out and he is headed back to the Hanger, something to do with input apparently

No losses - great numbers on the track and 6-8 new players so far. The Rockers will be very good

I see the Eagles have recruited big this year with at least 4-5 players from the other Doveton, previous B&F players, B Hidgcock and D Carmichael are back. Hand the whole thing over now as there won't be a side to come within 10 goals this year. With there only loss being Grundy to Lyndale.

Hynesy's clearance through. Now time for the Divvy 3 teams to start to fear who wil have to line up on him

Jonnie Football is a gret player and a great fella. He will tear it up if he gets right.

bigTwix From what I saw from Jon Hynes last year & even at his age he will dominate Div 3. Played AFL so you have to give him some credit. Absolutely tore Bentleigh apart from the back half in Round 3, 2012. Marks everything, doesn't get tackled & doesn't miss a target that's more than enough to play SFL Div 3. Normally a pretty logical poster, but maybe some under lying issues here re: SFL/CPLFC. It's tough losing players to other clubs, I know

Yup, from the 3/4's I saw I can confirm that Black Rock's intra club was as impressive as I've seen of suburban footy at any level for a number of years....plenty of goers, the skills were good for March, and plenty of reward for runners - probably lacking in the ruck a little, but the mids looked awesome - if they can pick up a quality ruck they are my D3 pick.

Played two full games. Heatherton had a full ones side and half a dozen twos. Doveton thirds made up the numbers.
