I don't think St Pauls/Old Ormond go past 14 s and Caulfield i would think are struggling for numbersAlways had a big junior club, historically they didn't get on, maybe thats changed but they lose most of them to private school football around U15

juniors numbers in the area end up being irrelevant as they all end up at the old boys clubs anywayI don't think St Pauls/Old Ormond go past 14 s and Caulfield i would think are struggling for numbers

I’m not sure why the league allows night matches, especially in the middle of winter. Poor lighting at grounds, 8°C weather & people waiting around all day to play/watch local footy doesn’t bode well for atmosphere. Beena looked at the fixture & banked on Dingley’s big crowd for bar sales by the looksWent down to watch Dingley vs Beena under the lights, 6:30 start, and Dingley as expected were too good! Bit of a let down after the game with not many players staying for a drink after the match though..
My mate says this about Dingley each week. Said when he was playing at a high level, they would all drink with the opposition. Nobody drinks with DingleyWent down to watch Dingley vs Beena under the lights, 6:30 start, and Dingley as expected were too good! Night footy has its place, but only in April / May, when the nights are still warm(ish). If it was up to me, no night footy after King's Birthday.I’m not sure why the league allows night matches, especially in the kidding of winter. Poor lighting at grounds, 8°C weather & people waiting around all day to play/watch local footy doesn’t bode well for atmosphere.

4 45 is a better timeThe game did feel a bit late for local footy but the lights at Murrumbeena are very good as they're brand new.I probably would've moved it 60-90 minutes forward.
was bloody cold out last night too4 45 is a better time
Probably makes it harder for volunteersIMO local footy is best playing to its strengths and that’s 2pm Saturday. But some clubs are different and different times might work for them.
I love it because Hawks never play that time so I can go to every game with the mates.IMO local footy is best playing to its strengths and that’s 2pm Saturday. But some clubs are different and different times might work for them.
Without checking I’m guessing this would’ve been a great opportunity for Beena to celebrate their whole club on the one day instead of just three teams.
No doubt would’ve had their women’s teams or thirds side playing on the same day too

Don't count out Cheltenham just yet at a neutral windy venue at RSEADingley vrs St Pauls this weekend at Souter Reserve could be the preview of the Grand Final.
No doubt it’s a long day. But I imagine their committee and volunteers would’ve been proud to showcase the strength of their club and its teams all on one dayClose
2 womens games (1 forfeit), U/19s, reserves & seniors. Long day for committee & volunteers
