Look what came out of that lol. One of the better last qtrs I’ve seen for a while! Springvale shouldn’t walk away with their heads down. Cracker of a season and really gave themselves an opportunity to win it all.

St Paul’s are a proud and well run club, they have great relationships with the VFL clubs and have some serious players. The pass mark for doggies is a grand final . So unfortunately the last 2 years haven’t been overly successful on field

Definitely two years in a row where we haven't brought our best football when it mattered, Chelt were too good on the day.

Next weeks GF should be a cracker.

Memory is not as good as once was, it was close, 8 pts at Beena. A few boys playing seniors that day and the small ground would have kept play in nice and tight.
On a big RSEA oval, maybe Narre have more run. Although Beena looked pretty good in their Elimination final at Narre!

Now that everyone's favorite team, St. Pauls, has been dumped out of the finals, the 2 best teams are left. My biased view is Dingoes 1's by 13 points and Dingoes 2's by 27 points.

Good effort by Narre Warren to win u19s D1 flag in first year in comp. Will become a power in years to come with smart recruiting. Better to go down the locals path and save player points than chequebook strategy. 1 point players are like gold these days

Anyone at the game? Cheltenham win despite kicking 1 goal in the 2nd half. Not a single goal from either side in the last quarter. Cheltenham won’t care as go back to back to back but must have been a very hard watch for spectators.

Time for the southern to move on from RSEA park. Absolute snooze fest of a GF and to be honest Dingley should be appalled of their output. The first half was as timid as I have seen across my 35 years of Playing/Coaching/ and now watching southern. I won’t single out individuals but there is a few of the Dingley older brigade that surely wont be renewed. The roseallas were committed and played to a plan that eventuated in a win and credit must be paid to the victors. Dingley will be smarting and there must be eyes casted over Zac Horsley and the lack of results with an expenditure that any senior coach would love. Man to a Man they failed the acid test. Can anyone tell me what the plan was from Dingley in terms of the roseallas best players ? Lonie, Hayes , Weidhkhart , Edwards ?? Embarrassment on the Dingley coaching staff. Close down the space, contested , tempo football and it’s all come up on the big day for Dingley. And When you spend big like a country club $$$ and come up short then questions must be asked

Not having a go at Dingley as I know they got the 4 peat (2015-2018) but they have now shown on a few occasions to go to ‘water’ in the big dance when firm favourites
