Surely straight to independent tribunal.
Video evidence is damming for the Southern to really put their foot down & make an example. Particularly now it's got a bit of media coverage (via DDF) - Probably lucky it hasn't been much more than that.

Interestingly it was reported that he went back on the ground. I think that in its self says something about the acceptance of that kind of behaviour. This will be a test for the league who have been erratic in handling issues in the past.
League Didn't do much about the Skye vs Keyes apart from cancelling games between them, I doubt apart from a few weeks much will change, like why wasn't a red just handed straight out meaning he couldn't come back on. easy to lose control over a game with something like this

The standard you walk past is the standard you accept. There is a very soft underbelly to some at HQ. Speak a big game but…

Doveton could have grown a set too and pulled him from the game. Shit club.

Highly doubt an umpire saw it, so can’t really send him off.

I did have a chuckle at the comment “the old Doveton handshake”

Yes will most likely drop down to D3 for the first time in their history. It’s a long way back from there. However there is a beacon of hope there. Have blooded 17 first gamers to the club in the opening 3 games and most of these are under 20 years of age. The tide will turn and it’s good to see them play local junior kids, rather than the mercenaries of the last couple Peninsula All Star years….vastly different and a step in the right direction!
Yes Heatherton were a Div 1 club once upon a time as well. The then coach bailed one preseason & took players to a Peninsula club & they have never really recovered since sitting in Div 3

I can't remember who that coach was :smirk: *checks notes.......

Very funny I like the response.
Yes said coach really did suck the life out of the All Stars along with 1 or 2 others that were dangling his carrot.

I think you will find East Brighton will be in a better position though, if they can maintain a link with the junior section of the club. Heatherton have never had a feeder pathway and only in the last 3 years have fielded an under 19s team.

Seen my fair share of Doveton handshakes that possibly takes the cake nearly leaves the ground he gives it that much power. Doveton had any balls they would kick him out

The club has been on the decline for years , once a powerhouse now a shell of its former self , if they are not careful they are looking at Div 4 in the future
