SFNL Div 2 2026

Cranny just picked up Bellinvia and also Dale Alanis. It's actually ridiculous now, they'd actually be more competitive in div 1 this year than they were last year.
I’m so confident Cranbourne will go undefeated, miles above.

Doveton and keysborough seem to be the weak links I’ve left Hampton out not too sure about them.

Heard keysborough have lost a couple and haven’t recruited anyone, disappointing as when I watched them against Highett last szn, it was one of the better local games I’ve seen

any truth to the rumour ingalisio from doveton is a late in at springy?? things going from bad to worse for the doves?

Will snag some good wins but won’t get near Cranbourne. Lacking key position guys don wasn’t the best but he does leave a big hole in there forward line

They've added some experience in Baker and a couple of fellas from Tyabb. Those guys should be good support for a few of their kids who will be better for the run last season. They have some good kids coming through.

Negatives - Waite will be a loss and they've lost their best and fairest winner from last season (Tom Limpens) for the year to injury.

Stronger coaching panel in place, and numbers on track very healthy.

Better depth. Expect them to be stronger.

Knowing a few of the players they are up and about. I just think they are a little small and light to trouble Cranbourne and Malvern. Finals will be a good year for them

Aside from Cranbourne V. Doveton, Round 1 shapes up to be pretty interesting as the rest on paper look to be really competitive matchups - I think it will give a good read early into how sides will shape us this year
for reference:
Highett v Keysy (Good Friday)
Chelsea Heights v Caulfield
Mordi v East Malvern
Hampton v Frankston

hold the phone on cranbourne v doveton if d1 thread is anything to go by

With Cranbourne taking the step up to D1 does the All Stars now just take over their fixture spot? How does this now shape the layout of the season…..some of us will need to re-do our predictions.

Surely they just swap fixture spots. Div 2 is wide open now.

Any whispers from the zoo?

While I occasionally get down to a game, I'm no track watcher. They've had a few seasons to build up again, yet barely a whimper on the socials of late.

Or will it be another season of finishing 3-6?

With Cranbourne gone you would have to think top 3 locks now potentially early favourites
