On paper, the EM recruits are clearly head and shoulders above Mordialloc's. High level VAFA and long-term VFL players.

Someone forgetting Cranbourne. Were very competitive in D1 this season, have a few injuries back and key players returning

Let's remember East Malvern was the pre-season fav last year and didn't really fire a shot.

Their best 22 next season would be a good div 1 side next season. IF they all stay on the park. Big if though.
Malvern and mordy really loading up.
Any news from Chelsea? Beaten grand finalists, so werent all that far away from it..

I've heard the ship is sinking
East Brighton reportedly seeking admission into division 2 next year (financial crisis) which would mean, presumably, that Cranbourne stay up.
This is all rumour mill stuff (I am not taking any credit for it), nothing definitive as yet but it's doing the rounds - supposed meeting with EB and the SFNL next week taking place.
Highett FNC recruiting out of the Dingley 2's, some handy players to come across for the bulldogs - (Jordy Letts, Josh Peacock, Owen Chugg) confirmed.
For the naysayers, yes, I know it isn't to the level of EM & Mordi but it's still something.

From the stuff I am hearing from multiple sources, yes, EB are losing many players.
Rubbish, EB haven't requested to go down.

Would it be better for chelsea to then go up instead of cranny staying up?? They came last so should go down regardless.

I think they will stay up, however the top end of div 2 , will be rock solid this year. Hard year to go up.

doveton picking up a few signings, will it be enough to lift them out of the bottom 2?
They would hope so considering they said they were a Div 1 side when they came in and told everyone they would only be in Div 2 one year

Highett adding more depth.
Mordi signing anyone and everyone. Good for club morale but will it bring the desired results.
Chelsea to go backwards with a few key outs.
Cranbourne to be stong coming down. Few pick ups will help.
Frankston adding more depth also. May struggle to beat the top sides.
Not heard too much from the rest.
