St kilda City has to be the hot favourite for the flag.

Still have a few players to come back into there best 22 .

They are not a certainty with every side having there own flaws, as the saints have shown once they are challenged and the pressure is on they get real shaky and have lost games because of that .

Premiership winning sides soak that pressure up and find a way to overcome it 9 times out of 10 .

Ita taking nothing away from what they have achieved so far this year and the positive direction the club is heading in .

Who is the team to take out Stkilda city come the finals ?

CPL with players coming back at the right time ensuring to be ready for finals .

I would say we might have it all wrong and CPL are the ones to beet and the question is Stkilda city good enough to take them out ?

CPL have more experience on the list that just might prove to be the extra class that prevails at the end

Cpl the only threat

Wilson still come to come back in who’s a star

Berwick have fallen off a cliff

Still tipping St kilda and Ashwood to finally finish bottom

What clubs are in or are almost in there window to win a flag and move up a division .

City ,Hampton and Berwick both young and are def in there window to be able to press on in div 2 and stay competitive in there .

Lyndhurst don't have the caddle or structure amongst the club ATM and 3 years min away from opportunity

Black rock as much as they want to be a higher division club will never go back up a division whilst they play home grown talent with raw talent still running around in the 12 o'clock game whilst wash ups play in the 2pm game

Heatherton , ashwood , Skye and South morno will all be here or there div 3 clubs and a flag once every 10 years might just surprise from one of them . All 4 clubs no real depth no real.dedicated youth and no real spine to build a premiership campaign around .

3 clubs that on and off the field be div 2 and stay there .

It's pretty sad for such a even comp considering the gap is bigger for some from div 3 to div 2,

Strongly disagree on Heatherton
Strong 19s playing divi 1 - many getting senior opportunities this yr
They’ll be a force in the coming years

Black rock building from the ground up again with jnrs but this will take time - they have got the right people to do it though
Have heard Cloke will leave end of year

Skye , ashwood and sth mornington in a world of hurt as other clubs just keep getting better

Lyndhurst had a massive exit after their 2022 premiership — with only 4 or 5 players from that flag-winning side still on the list. There’s a clear gap between the 2022 group and the current team, both in experience and cohesion.

The key for Heatherton moving forward is keeping these good young kids. If they are down in D3 some of them won’t want to stick around as they will try to play a higher standard of senior footy. Yes they are in a better position than most D3 clubs, but can they hold onto them?

They might be good players, but the attitude and behaviour sucks. If they don’t stamp that out it will all fall over. The arrogance of some of the u19s means they will chase $

I saw Hampton last week come home with a massive wing. Good mixture of youth and experience in the team.

Expect to see Hampton in the Div 3 2025 Grand Final!

I saw CPL v BR yesterday and CPL would not want to get too far ahead of themselves. They structure up very well, but when the game was there to be won, a few went missing. Super performance by the visitors.
