Understood, but the league has set a precedent by allowing Cerberus to compete in the Senior Divisions with only one team.

1st thing is take their flag away its all a joke. Teams in Div 2 and 3 are well into pre season and recruiting to play in those divisions and it looks like a bye in Div 1. this year.

If the League allows a move, surely it has to be to Div 2, and if they do not have a Reserve team, field a Thirds as other teams have done. I think the League has called a Presidents meeting to vote on it, which they are required to by their own By-Laws to make such a decision, so we'll see what comes from that. But yeah, it's all a bit much coming from Doveton

I was referring to 2018 when they managed to win the Div4 Senior flag without fielding a reserves team.

Heatherton possibly get a reprieve and have another crack at Divy 2? They knew it would be hard and gave it a good nudge. Would tip them to try and get promotion again seeing as they probably won't win divy 3.
Springvale probably best suited to go up to Div 1, but should be allowed to win div 2 first if they want to.

Put them in the Thirds where they belong. If they have 2 teams, then div 2. this is what happens when clubs try to fast track too quickly. They crash and burn, and they'll go again.

Meeting tonight with league regarding Doveton. From what I’ve heard nobody is that keen to go up to Div1. Apparently a good preso back at Doveton that could help getting players back. Div3 would be ropable if they go down and then some good players return. Big decision for the league looming.
