SFNL Division 3 2021

League vote count Thursday. Who’s everyone’s top 3?

Surely Brewster wins it pretty easy from Narre South

Carroll from Ashwood will be up there again

Someone from Black Rock (not sure who) and a smokey would be Nick Gay from E/Hills, he always seems to poll well.

So if Oakleigh stay in SFNL, Doves and Cranbourne to Div 2. That means Hampton and Beena to div3 .
What are Black Rock doing staying or going up does anyone know ?. Heard keen to stay in Div 3
When was the last time all the top 3 divisions had at least 10 teams each

You're suggesting the second best side in Outer Eastern play Div2?

no way could cranny be in div2 way to good for that they will be one of the best div 1 sides if they keep there same list will be a major challenger for the flag in div 1

Cranny D1 without question. They'd just wreck the season in D2 with everybody else playing for second.

If OD stay that'll make 22 clubs across D1 and D2 (existing plus Cran and Doveton). Have one division of 12 and one division of 10 depending on clubs wanting to go up or down. Then you can take them back to 10 clubs in 2023 after everybody has had a season to play it out.

Anyone have any thought on the team if the year ?
think there was some interesting choices
Very interesting to not see more NS players given how well they did and a few polled okay in the league medal. Also interesting how Mornington and Dovey got more than Yarra and Narre

Anyone heard anything regarding BR going up or CPL coming up? Also heard Brewster on the move from Fat Narre. Makes them less fat but a huge loss for them

Nothing against "Narre South" but love how Fat Narre continues on <3

Hoping another year of good reading on big footy in 2022

With the league still deciding on who will be in what div, how do we reckon murrumbeena would go in D3? list was drained in 2021 but have gotten a few players (as per their fb page). Seem to be going after more decent players than a few superstars

Would do alright but would think this year’s top 4 would have their number just. Probably finish around 5th?

Sth mornington and Doveton going down. Weak as piss. Surprised the yarras didn’t jump at the opportunity as well

What are the thoughts on Doveton's two season with "penalties" being impacted by covid. Should they still be on negative points or not? Only had 1 season of beltings.

Grow up. Look at the results. Neither had any business being in D3 and were nowhere near competitive.

Hopefully both can build their clubs back up in D4. It's almost impossible to do when you're getting absolutely slaughtered every week.

Clubs were not necessarily given the choice as to whether they went down. I know for Div 1, Highett were told to prepare for Div 2 and not given a lot of options. The bylaws state they can grade anyway they see fit. the SFNL asked if Springvale wanted to go up, and once they said yes, and Cranbourne was coming in, Highett were going down no matter what, and I suspect Oakleigh would have been as well. I reckon the same for Murrumbeena in D2. Once Doves come in, someone had to go down to keep 10 teams, and they didnt win a game in D2. The D3 situation then becomes you keep DE and SM in, and have 10 teams and D4 7, or drop them and have an 8 team D3 and 9 D4, which is a better mix.

Stop it, too much logic for the average man on bigfooty

Can anyone confirm if the league medalist from Div 3 in 2021 has left Narre and signed in the bush for 2022 ? Apparently his shoulders are cooked from carrying the whole club.
