Just saw that the AFL has announced the PSD order and Collingwood doesn't have a pick. How does this affect Shae's ability to be drafted?

the rookie draft is a different draft to the national draft, even though those in the in national draft are rookies in the technical sense (ie it is generally their first year), the rookie draft is one held after the national draft (on the same day as the Preseason draft) in which players not drafted previously can be taken by clubs and signed to a contract which places them on the 'rookie list'. players on the rookie list can only play first team football if another player sustains a long term injury....

As has been mentioned the Rookie draft is seperate to the national draft. The rookie draft is where you pick up the players for your rookie list funnily enough. There is a draft order like the national draft but international rookies are signed automatically to the club that has scouted and recruited them for a late rookie draft pick (generally the last)

We have no room for PSD because there is no room on our senior list we have room on our rookie list hence there is no problem. With that problem solved this thread serves no real purpose and will be closed.
