No it wouldnt. Not a chance.

Posters throwing around potential contracts at $800K pa and then expecting to trade him for peanuts is ridiculous.

North would have to pay him close to that, thus they would clearly rate him to be valued much higher in a trade.

His value is much closer to two picks around 20 then it is 1. They aren’t going to touch pick 1 or their future potential pick 1 for Bolton.

Thats not our problem though. They would have to consider trying to turn pick 1 into 2 picks then? I agree Bolton probably doesnt command pick 1, but hes worth a top 10 pick all day every day.

They would probably try and trade those two picks for one around 10 if that’s what you wanted or let you upgrade one of your picks with their second giving you a pick inside ten plus their future second.
they still have no need to touch pick 1 for him.

Facts aren't wrong - either are stats - they all drop away when the Tigers lose. He is a good player but the way the Tiger posters carry on is really funny.

Best in his draft and will be a top 5 player in the AFL by season ends!!

I'd wait to see how he's going when Dusty, Cotchin and Prestia aren't around first. Looking good in a Top-4 side is much easier than in a middle of the road one. Refer Hawthorn.

Mate just about the entire afl world is drooling over Shai's performances and you are now so far up sh!t creek that you cant come back

Sometimes you look foolish doubling down on a wrong call - You were wrong simple as that

Shai is a Gun player at 22 years old and clubs are talking $800k contracts

Just admit you were wrong and he doesnt just play well when the team is winning as that is what you said

Dont think anybody is saying Shai is going to be the best player in the AFL
Dusty wont let him.


But lets just ask this question , If your team had pick #1 this year and selected say a kid Daicos , Horne , Sinn
would you be disappointed if he turned out to be the similar level as Shai Bolton in 4 years time
