Perhaps I am being selfish, or perhaps we can all have a go at shamelessly self promoting ourselves, whatever it may incorporate. Had a browse of the forum and wasn't sure where else to post this, (if it's unsuitable, don't move it... I don't care) so you guys are getting lumped with it.

Pretty much, this is a SPORTS news service/blog that a few Uni mates and I have come up with. It's meant to be a don't hold back, no BS sort of gig.

Of course, covers AFL, but majority of the "popular" sports. We're just trying to get off the ground currently, but a like on Facebook or a follow on Twitter would be much appreciated!

P.S. We are actually pretty good... in case you were wondering.

Feel free to shamelessly self promote yourself, or your ventures below (see, I made this useful...)

Sites looks good. I've always wanted to set up my own sports blog but I'm too lazy and I don't think I could attract many readers. The dream would be to start writing and end up like Bill Simmons.

Site looks really good. The logo you put as your profile pic on fb and twitter looks kinda cheap and tacky though. I'm now following you though :D

Good idea for a thread too, we should be able to utilise this forum for our own personal gain. If I had anything to promote I'd no doubt be all up in hurrr.

I ran www.aussiesportsfan.com for 2 years until I had to close it a few weeks ago because no one had the time/enthusiasm to write anymore.

The first year or so was insane, we were pushing out 10 articles a week but then it just dropped off from there. Ended with 65,000 views overall
Geez just had a look at that, that's pretty impressive! Hoping that one day I can get someone that knows how to design websites like that, very smooth.

First thing you need is a sweet logo and then you can go from there. I used a basic layout template and just modified the s**t out of it basically. Takes a bit of HTML know-how but it's one of those things that you can learn as you go.

Off track

Anyone seen the you Aussie hurdler who does a dance at the start line. I just want to punch her in the head for being a massive knob.
