I don't want to cop friggen crap for this post, I am sure I will..

But I would just like to say, that Shane Clayton is softer than melted butter mixed with fresh dog ****.

He scampered away from the ball so many times today, I could have bloody killed them, the first noticable time, he could he easily have got(or knocked away) the ball and was going to collect it but stopped dead because there were 2 Port players a few metres away, the ball bounced onto one of the Port players, and bye bye ball.

You don't deserve to wear the Roo jumper Clayton, you really bloody don't.

And as for the rest of you, accept a few- what the hell were you doing in the last qtr? Having a bit of a snooze if you ask me.

Totally agree, couldn't believe how pathetic he was. His first contest he sat off the ball and it didn't get any better.

What about the marking contest with Lade, how bad was that, just sat at the back!

i could have killed him after that supposed "contest" with Lade.......how can a guy who is afraid of the ball and his opponents play afl football

How he got a game today, I dont know.. freakn soft shi*, is a disgrace to the Roos, you are an absolute friggen disgrace Clayton.

Get the contested ball or GET OUT.

There's one positive from him playing...Laids got to see him side by side with Watson, and got blatant proof who the better player is.

I could have told him that after only watching Watson a couple of times.

Ash had a nice debut- doubt if he would get a rising star nomination, would he?:(

F*ck off Clayton. Just f*ck off.

And no way known Watson would come close to a rising star nomination. Without seeing the stats, he would have been lucky to play 40 minutes game time, and would have gotten about 7 or 8 possessions.

That said, he showed glimpses of what he is capable of in conditions completely unsuited to his game at the moment. Chased, was prepared to get in and get dirty, and not suprisingly used it beautifully every time he got his hands on the ball. Definately worth persisting with this year in the seniors.

As for Clayton?

Just f*ck off.

Well its worth dreaming for. {Clayton going and Watson getting a rising star nomination}

Watson- as far as I was concerned, they should have kicked it all the they could in the 4th qtr, he uses it beautifully:D Its beauty at its best.

Clayton seemed to get injured (4th quarter?) so maybe he won't be in next week any way.

Yeah, came off with a thigh/hamstring strain. I wouldn't expect him to be playing for the next 2 weeks.

I thought it looked like he had done a hamstring but the commentators (who were biased toward Port and had verbal diarrhoea - I thought they would never shut up) said that they were looking at his ankle.

I was amazed they didn't make any effort to find out exactly what happened to him or Jess. I guess it wasn't important to them...

As for Shane, I have been trying to see the good in him, but that "contest" with Lade was unforgivable. Consider me a turned man on the Clayton issue....

Welcome aboard Briedis. The thing about Clayton is that he may get kicks and look ok if we are in control...but that`s just it, we`re in control anyway. He never will get a kick when we need him in the big games where the intensity goes up.

Develop a Watson, Jr, Harris or Smith who may actually amount to something.

I'm sure just 3 weeks ago you were lambasting me for my assessment of where that spud is on the scale of AFL players.

I'll say it again, for the Michele's out there who think that because they wear the jumper they're good enough.....if you do not understand the basic fundamentals of this game, you have no place playing it.

Clayton doesn't and he doesn't!

I honestly don't think I've ever seen a more gutless player ever...in any team.

He has to go...never to return!

After many many beers, watching Arsenal win the FA cup and having a great night... all I can still think about is how ****ful this bloke was today

Or as someone at the Redback said, "It wasn't a hamstring. He just hurt his fingernail".

It summed up the 'occasion' perfectly. He really was... just sh*thouse
