all this depth we have is old and slow so it's fools gold. Orren, Knights, King, Thomas, Petterd, Grigg are all old, slow mature age.

Now these stats don't show score involvements and the like but they indicate with exception of 2012 that he struggles to avg a goal a game. Given that he has played just about every game in the last four years you would think he would be improving but I am not so sure.

McDonough was good, got subbed off at half time (not sure if it was due to an injury or just because he was the emergency).

Lloyd didn't see much of it. Not too surprising considering the ball didn't really get down there.

I'd imagine he would be right up there on those turnover stats you're referring to.

Too many saying he is best played as a small forward. What about that embarrassing effort last week against Carlton when he fresh aired the ball in the last quarter after playing on from the Riewoldt free kick. He is a spud no matter where we play him. Losing by 100 points doesn't mean everyone was bad. Just like beating Carlton last week didn't mean we had 22 good players.

Unfortunately his value has hit rock bottom and he is now a free agent. This club needs to learn when to move players on.
Waiting to see a new 3 year deal for him though.
