Any one think Juice could actually make a half decent defender. Has the size to do very well, obviously has some place. Cant kick for goal and isnt an overly good mark (apart from MOTY).

He is only 23 years old.

I notice hes back on the senior list.

Juice is quite good at putting defensive pressure on. Problem is that he can't hold a mark to save himself so I'm not sure how he's going to go as a defender.

We must have barely had a midfield. Lots of forwards and defenders but very few midfielders. So Newton did actually play in defence? Hopefully he did alright.

Matty Burgan wrote the article praising Newton, so I'm willing to take his word for it.

Just not sure when we are crying out for a KPP why he is playing in defense. He should be playing the role we were trying to draft Hale to play.

All four were quiet-ish as far as I could tell... Meaning that BT didn't call their names much. To be expected from grimes I guess, given his injury, and bennell was playing in the forward line. I did see a bit of trengove in the midfield, not sure how much pill he got.
