He was very good in 2009/2010,but before that he was a frustrating player who just couldn't quite execute what he needed to do. In 2009 and 2010 he really pulled the finger out and did the requisite work. This enabled him to have more energy, which in turn meant that he could make the most of his modest skills. All credit to him for doing that. Unfortunately now his series of injury issues have prevented that same level of work being executed and subsequently his form has dipped. Will be at best a marginal fringe player this year, but maybe if he can dodge injuries and put in a massive effort can have one last roll of the dice. Somehow though given that he is starting to age, and the improved general level of fitness of competitors, I think he is unlikely to ever capture those heights again.
