A rep for Maroon 5’s Adam Levine denies that the singer dissed tennis star Maria Sharapova’s lovemaking abilities.

The rumors are "absolutely not true,” says Levine’s rep. And continued to say, “I represent Maroon 5 and wanted to let you know that the quote on your site [from the Russian newspaper] isn’t true. Adam never said this, and they only met once at Maria’s birthday party in 2004.”

Earlier this month, alternative Moscow newspaper The Exile reported that Levine had compared his 20-year-old former flame to a "dead frog” in bed. "She wouldn't make any noise during sex. I can't tell you how disappointed I was. I really thought, like a lot of guys, that she'd be the loud screaming type,” The Exile quoted Levine, 28. "But instead, she just lay there like a dead frog. She even got angry if I started to moan, saying it 'ruined her concentration."

Levine’s rep denies that the interview took place.

Anyone who compares her to Thomas Muster is insane, she has been recorded at 101.2 decibels which is equivalent to a police siren. It's unbelievable and unfair.

What is wrong with tennis players? If I played her, I would be on to the umpire and referee. Every single time I play her.

Or else I'd be an annoying "counter-grunter" and use whatever tactics I could to put her off her game.

The chair umpire says to the the spectators to be quiet and Maria Sharapova, Williams sisters and a few others continually grunt. Thats why womens tennis is a joke. Most of the players might be pretty but they bore the crap out of me. The prime example was the Wimbledon final Williams.V v Bartoli when it was so boring. Who watched this?

I prefer to watch mens tennis with Federer, Nadal, Roddick, Haas and many others have more exciting matches. The mens Wimbledon final was five sets of fantastic mens tennis. The great thing was the level of tennis that they played, the match could have gone either way

That is probably due to the coverage she gets. Because she makes it to the finals in most grand slams, sharapova becomes a household name, and this no doubt influences how people vote. There are many female tennis players out there that are more graceful than Sharapova.

And in relation to the grunting, it has to be tactical otherwise you would think her father would tap her on the shoulder and tell her 'sweet heart you're making your old man feel a little uncomfortable with all this grunting'.

Ever since I saw her grunt at the French when from within the service line she did a drop shot, it became quite clear that it's tactical. She's a cheat, but obviously, it's within the rules. The rules need to be changed. She can stop grunting if she wants to.

Most Tennis mags and websites have voted Ana Ivanovic the sexiest tennis player, and have done for the last three years. Also Ana's website is the most viewed 'female atlhete' website. Maria is old news.
