I'm am in tears and now have to go front up at work to a bunch of eagles supporters

well done to the eagles, outplayed us in the 2nd half. But am absolutely devastated.

Absolutetly gutted... Sad to say the best team won on the day. Didn't think i would feel as bad as last years prelim but yep. GO SWANS!

Gutted. THey were too good. Far too good. HOw can we stop their midfield? Braun, Judd, Kerr, Cousins, Stenglein, Cox Selwood... All quality.. Midfield killed us. I don't think if Biglands was still there it would've made a difference.

Selwood was probably better for us then them today.

That's a bandwagon I won't be jumping on.

I don't hate the Swans - in fact I usually have a soft spot for them - but I don't I could swallow Sydney winning back-to-back flags in years where we've outperformed them both in overall and head-to-head terms.

Hard luck guys - I really feel for you.

I was gutted at half time - I can imagine you feel much worse. All the best for next season.

Biglands was a huge loss, make no mistake about it. We still fought it out and I was proud of the way that the boys fought it out. Be disappointed but not gutted!! This match could have gone either way....Recall the bounce that resulted in a goal...Pay 2 frees to the Birdman in front....It was not all disaster. Give credit where credit is due.

I thought Clarke did a pretty good job in the ruck but Cox destroyed Adelaid around the ground.....was already doing so before Biglands was injured

I do give credit to WC, but i think we are allowed to be upset at the result. Such a great chance. Gone.

I think losing Biglands was a massive blow. Clarke's legs would have been tired and weary. had to ruck the last 2 and a 1/2 qtrs.

Not all disaster, but from where we were in round 16, its really upsetting....

Maybe you could educate hot carl into using his brain, like you have, re : the post in Adelaide vs West Coast - Prelim final. Good luck next week.

Agreed.

Awesome game guys. Dont be too down. Get one or two more midfielders around the traps around those gun KPPs and you will be fine. It aint all doom and gloom, you will be top 4 again next year. I cant see how your team will get worse next year.

Sitting here wondering why. And all I can come up with is a few players didnt stand up and Biglands meant Clarke had to work hard.

Dont know what else to say apart from congrats to the Eagles

So who does everyone think didnt perform today? Thought Edwards played a shocker, nothing went his way. Thompson was quiet too wasnt he. Stevens beaten again, Welsh pretty quiet oh yeh and Perrie biggest upset of them all, could not mark, did he kick a goal? Should have been dropped for McGregor. Other than that thought others played pretty good.

Basset really let us down today and I also felt Porplyzia was far too quiet.

Well Done guys, it's a terrible feeling, i've seen collingwood lose a few grand finals.

You look good for next season though.

That my friend is my biggest fear. We will need to be at our very best to avoid back to back losses.

Only good outcome out of this result is that West Coast has made Adelaide a livable city until the new season starts lol...

i wanted adelaid to win so swans won't win 2 in a row, guess its 2 in a row for swannies now, who umpired today?

Good luck to both teams, sydney play horrible football most of the time, and the eagels are attacking.
