i wanted adelaid to win so swans won't win 2 in a row, guess its 2 in a row for swannies now, who umpired today?

Check for the person involved in bouncing classes for the whole off season.

I've totally lost my voice. Hurts a lot more when you've lost :(

Thought I'd give a thumbs up to the crowd. Most of the people around me were yelling all day and tried to keep it up even when things were looking grim. Perhaps not quite as impressive as a couple of weeks ago, but I thought we were still pretty loud, and an excellent turnout.

Now I have to drink myself into forgetting today. I'm gutted.

Really, really disapointed right now, cant beleive we thought we could 'pull up stumps' at half time, Burton, Welsh unsighted in the last half, Perrie well need I say anymore, to fail when 22 pts up at home at half time is unexcuseable:thumbsd:

Basset really let us down today and I also felt Porplyzia was far too quiet.

yeh i just thought of these 2 players aswell. so really at least 10 players didnt pull their weight, never going to win when that happens.
anyway looking forward good luck to goodwin for monday night!!!

Agree far too many players went AWOL today Bassett, Perrie, Welsh and Porps to name a few:thumbsd:

Perrie shirked every contest and had no second efforts what-so-ever, lets trade this dud:thumbsd:

Only good outcome out of this result is that West Coast has made Adelaide a livable city until the new season starts lol...
Only good outcome for me is Sydney to go back to back

Next best outcome is to ring the boss and extend the holidays till March

What was extremely disappointing was our decision making in the first half of the third quarter! Handball errors and the turnovers in defence in the third quarter - my god I saw it happening at training on Friday and it happened during the game - it was absolutely appalling. I don't want to pick out any of our senior players but Tyson (who is normally cool as a cucumber) was one of the prime culprits today - decision making/awareness was woeful.

The benefit was that when Eagles skipped away early in the last quarter, I knew deep down we were gone and those late goals were just a tease.

It wasn't meant to be. God, I hate Preliminary Final losses.

Hey, Porps is 21yo playing his 11th game - expectation on this kid is far too high and he will be inconsistent. By all means, have a go at players that should no better and more experienced but leave the kids alone!

I think Adelaide did well to get close. 10 more scoring shots is a lot.

The midfield run was the killer. The West Coast never stop. They don't look fantastic up forward, but it just kept heading that way.

Brilliant 1st half by Burton. :D

Tough loss Crows. Your boys deserved to be in the granny and it's a shame that game wasn't the Grand Final. Best of luck to ya next year and hopefully there aren't to many arrogant Eagles fans who are just rubbing it in

Mate it's not having a go at someone to say they had a poor game. He had a very poor game, he'll learn from this and move on.

I concur!

West Coast deserved to win in, umpiring decisions or not. But everyone was scratcing their heads (including me) at some of those frees, particularly the last one. They just get plucked out of nowhere.

I am shattered. Absolutely shattered.
The worst thing is that it happened so quickly and the seasons over!!!!!
Am really dissappointed cos we were up for 90% of the game!!!!And it was a home game!!! If we were ever going to win. For some reason we dont have the ability to have comebacks when u compare us to how many times WC have just gotten over the line etc. (not that they just got over the line today)
third qtr=
Obviously im not making much sense...im really shattered:(
oh well.........hopefully next yr it will be third time lucky.....
:)

I was reacting to the way those comments were said - going AWOL? Not on as far as I concerned given our senior players let the side down today.

Passengers a plenty today Kirky and Porps was one of them he will learn and will be better for it and he has got to cop his wack, he was terrible today.

Commiserations guys. Half way through the last quarter I was psyching myself up for a possible loss because good seasons are devastating when they come to an end. A part of me feels for you. Better luck next year.

I disagree - West Coast lead for only 10 minutes of the game. That is not deserving of a win to me. IMO (and I will say this again and again) the umpires changed the momentum of the game in West Coasts favour.

I agree with you about the momentum of the game switching after the 50m penalty against Bock but Jenny count the scoring shots, WC deserved the win.
