just kicked the crap out of my rubbish bin. Took me 20 minutes to say anything.

can't believe it, the way we worked so hard to get back in the game and then in front to let it all slip away in the last 15 minutes, getting overrun in a final when we put such a big effort in is so shattering especially when it happens 2 years in a row, don't know what to do with myself until next season now

Me too, I am completely gutted. I don't mind getting beaten by a team that is better than us....but that certainly wasn't the case today.

True, we are improving, but the reality is that we are never going to challenge for the flag until we improve our disposal and ball handling skills and start converting our scoring opportunities into winning scores.

The main reason why we played catch up footy for most of the game was we made far too many disposal and ball handling errors in the first half. I don't know about now, but for most of the season we led the AFL, in the opposition, scoring from our turnovers.

Our recruiters should be really focusing on picking young players that have elite disposal under pressure, rather picking someone who one day in the future MAY develop into an elite kick or hand pass. Its very hard to improve someone skills once they get into their late teens.

Beauty of being so young. Only really used to being disappointed by the Blues so I'm not overly annoyed. Wasn't expecting much. Was a good game and great effort from the boys, but there are still some glaring deficiencies which need to be addressed.

Will be interesting to see how the players and coaching staff respond in 2011.

Never a good feeling to lose. Most frustrating thing is to lose in a similiar manner two years in a row....

But we were never going to win the flag this year, and although I would of done anything to have a final here in Melbourne, I guess we have to wait another year ><.

Get a full preseason into all our players, especially Yarran, Murphy and McLean and come out with a fresh list in 2011.

We will be a top 4 side in the next 2-3 years. Experience of the pain of these losses to Brisbane and Sydney will translate when it counts, I am sure of it.

Anyways sad day to be supporting the Blues

I've never cried after a game, but I did today, I took the dog for a walk...and got my act together, really gutted after this one, this is a really shattering loss.

I'm really disappointed, and angry for that matter, because if we played like we did in the 3rd for at least 3 qtrs we win comfortably, and we should have kicked those goals to put us further in front, in the end I honestly felt we lost the game rather than Syd won it, as we wasted opportunities and they made us pay as any top 8 side should

The most disappointing aspect about losing today is manner in which we lost, very similar to last year, dispappointing

shattered we didnt finish them off early in that last qtr. but to play in perth and lose a by goal and then play in sydney and lose by 5 points is a respectful effort.

Shattering, but I'm not sure the shoot-out style of game is going to win you lots of finals. Hopefully this shows that our backline needs a bit more grunt and we recruit accordingly. But was proud of the team in really taking it up to them in the 2nd half. Judd's 3rd quarter one of the best quarters of all time.
