Toast Shaun Hampson

After the shit I was forced to eat tonight during that last quarter, the one thing that stood out to me, that makes it taste a little better, was Shaun Hampsons courage today.

He is obviously playing under duress and this most likely would be his last year BUT he played for the jumper tonight. He played hurt but gave us an option and allowed us first use. He was also a threat forward by being an option.

Well done Shaun, you will never be a Richmond great but you proved a lot of people wrong tonight that you just play for the pay cheque, if you did, you would have asked to be benched due to being hurt after the first quarter.

Yep and you, me and every other Richmond fan knew he wasn't going to convert those opportunities, just like last week we knew he wasn't going to convert the opportunity against Carlton. Yet our dumbass coach doesn't recognise this and have it so that Martin runs by him for the hands off for every opportunity Hampson has.

Was surprised we didn't have anyone run around the back of him but maybe we wanted to try get him the confidence of going for goal otherwise it's kind of pointless

His opponent kicked the winning goal.
He was his usual clumsy, klutzy self and fell over at the contest and didn't get near the ball. Grundy plucked it off the pack and bang.

The ball dropped short with this fool having no chance to make it with 11 players infront of him and comes in 2 minutes after the ball drops leaving grundy's side which allows grundy to take the ball and kick the goal- He should have been all over grundy when the ball popped out

He has NFI about playing football - Delist ASAP , Chol would be a better option even at 86kgs

Hampson is not a AFL footballer, He is a spud that has been extremely lucky to last 10 years at this level without ever producing anything thats afl standard - Why continue with a lost cause

Nah...the bloke has a severe case of the potato virus..that bump was the first time I have seen him exert anything near physicality in a game & funny thing is I reckon it was an accident. He can win a tap but his awareness as a big bloke when it hits the ground is non existent. He needs to clear a path for our mids & look to make a campaigner of himself but he doesn't due to his lack of football nouse. Get him on the next flight to Mongolia & if Ivan is not right just throw a broomstick in for the centre bounces..at least it will get in the way..
