For mine however ...when exactly was he going to take this "long service leave"? Can someone tell me where we knocked him and the rest of them back and said sorry, you cant have this time off?
As I said earlier, They've got an annual job than runs from November to Sept every year. They know this when they sign their contract.
So when did they want to take this leave? Which year? Did they want to start their pre seasons in February? Have the pre season cup off? Take off rounds 5 - 9 and shoot off up to QLD? Imagine if that happened.
Thats how ridiculous these claims are.

Most of the players listed were injured every season. Its not like they played every week each year. Rehn and Mods had years out with knee injuries.Trigger and Liptak would rip a hammy every other minute.
These blokes are very luck they got to stay at home and play AFL footy. They should count their blessings, remember the good times and get on with things.
Suing the club will only make things worse for themselves in terms of their relationship with the AFC.
