You are the one reaching. PVF and co you can thank your new VC for the departure of myself.
Yep reaching as far as you can now.

You put that publicly if you wish but internal discussions from yourself won't back that.

It's almost like you were determined to leave anyway or you figured everyone would blindly follow what you put forth.

If I was doing what you were I would have done it completely differently and not sooked when people didn't agree or had concerns, you did nothing to calm those fears but said 'I'm the one helping him'.

Good luck.

It is called putting someone else before yourself. At the end of the day its a ******* fantasy football game and when a guy is constantly missing out, fair enough some of it is his own doing, I don't think its right. I could have quite happily stayed at the Wonders and continued on my merry way, but I decided to take it upon myself to help him get a game and I will do that and I will bring out the best in him.

If you are sick of the BS then unwatch the thread, I am done discussing this with you.

Look at the thread title, we were discussing the recruitment like a normal team giving each player a say and you then go and make this and say I'm going where Jobe goes whilst we still were having a constructive chat.
Umm no. That is completely false. I talked this over with the Captain of the club, as he himself stated, before even going to the others. Who is reaching now.

Eh? He has been given numerous opportunities each season to play at a club. Many a captain has gone out of their way to accommodate him, often to the chagrin of team mates. He has asked, and been given opportunities to sim many games including entire Carnivals. He has participated in many aspects of the Sweet FA over the course of many seasons. I don't think he's missed out at all. People seem to bring up the "woe is him" adage, when in fact, he's been given more than a fair go.

That's fair enough, worded wrong somewhat from myself. Yes he has been given chances, but he has openly expressed his desire to play the real stuff on multiple occasions, probably too much but the way I see it thats him missing out. And it is a credit to him for still wanting to be a part of the league and sim etc when he doesn't have a club.

Your latest inappropriately timed coup is distracting me from reading about Sydney being cheats.
As a Melbourne supporter I have a clause in my membership where I can't bag the AFL until Roo's loses his first game Or round 2, whichever comes sooner. So viva la COLA and all that.

I haven't actually seen much of a difference between Jobe and the Jet if any at all.

We're basically in an off-season where posters aren't required to post as if in a season. Sitting back and being silent awaiting a season doesn't mean you're changed.
I'm going to weigh in on this discussion a bit now, when jobe first decided to come back and find a team and was creating threads about it and continuing to refer to himself about needing a club I was having discussions with him in private. It is no secret I have wanted to give him a chance and numerous votes from our leadership group have not allowed this to happen. I asked Jobe about 2 months ago in private to settle down on the forums, to not make every thread and post about him and to just chill and enjoy the SFA. If you look back over the last two months he has definitely done that, he has been actively involved in the SFA SoO and has not been posting incessantly about needing a club. In my eyes he has definitely changed but yes it is only the offseason but there is improvement there. It is for this reason that I have asked our leadership group (prior to this duggs thread being started) to once and for all decide whether we should recruit him. What he has done to other people is irrelevant to me, I would give him a clean slate, and a brand new bridge to burn ;). As a club we would have nothing to lose, whilst jobe has everything to lose. Discussions with my team-mates are still ongoing more trade and draft rumours will be released when they come to hand .

Ok guys this is getting out of hand and it's making everyone look bad except for Wise Guy Sam who is doing well at promoting his Wise Cracks business(You're welcome).

I would personally like to say that I agree with what ShaunDuggan is doing here and I fully understand why he is doing it. I really do hope The Jet does continue in this league and I know Duggs can do the job of mentoring him into being a good poster here. It's a shame that we will be losing one of the greats of our club but I know it's for a good reason and he is always welcome back to the Wonders.

Now that this saga is over for the Wonders, will be focusing and looking forward to Season 17. Good luck to Duggs and the Jet with whichever club they decide to join.

Yes so I'm correct on that point, the fact he has been silent doesn't prove he has changed, more so that he has been told not to be vocal.

I'll reserve judgment on that when the season proper is a few matches in.

Also as I said 'I' haven't seen much at all.

But he hasn't been silent he's been actively involved in S0O threads, whats been missing is him irritating people, hence he may be on the path to redemption.

Whoever picks him up is taking a plunge but what does it matter, jobe is the only one who looses.
