Once again Shaw leads the way. To all those media ********s and other people who keep knocking him, he is really sticking it up there arses.

He has been Collingwoods only consistent player this year and it just shows what a drop kick Malthouse is.

Look forward to seeing Shaw next week and best on ground. He shows what others lack, the true Collingwood spirit and passion.

if only he could kick

The winner only got 20 touches. Rowe did as good as him. Like to know who the judges were.

What does it matter, nobody else in the team can kick at the moment.

Even Clement who used to be good is spraying them all over the place. As for some others, getting the ball would be great.

Didak is the only one.

although 32 touches overrates his performance a lot given turnovers, ineffective disposals etc love the way he goes about it and hes so consistent this season hes stepped up thats for sure. hes very important to our side, someone who actually has good pace not like all the other sloths in our team

rhyce shaw man his been very good this year and is getting better every week :) he was best on ground i reckon with his dashing runs threw the midfiled and took 12 marks which is great to see.

As I have been saying every week, thre is nothing wrong with Shaw but all this stuff from people saying he is a hack, mostly Collingwood Supporters have now turned because after 5 great games they realise how good he actually is (beside BP ofcourse). He was our impact player, and the only player out there for the Pies, and once he went off the ground, Collingwood hadn't had that run through the midfield, and therefore, the game went the other way. Not saying he could win the match, but he was the player that was the spark in the engine room the whole match.

As for Lovett - who cares how many disposals he had...he was clearly best on ground. Shaw would have been though if he stayed on for the final 16 or so minutes.

when we mounted that little mini charge in the last term we missed his dash through the middle....no doubt he was our best performer and his kicking is improving by the week

he has developed the ability to find the footy consistently, and a smentioned his disposal is poor but is improving

what goalpie says about showing the true spirit and passion may be right, but it still doesnt help him when he turns the footy over, which he still does

The whole team is turning the ball over. Isnt this the job of the coaches. This is why I brought up the question whether Collingwood had any coaches with the ability to guide and develop young players. Teams shouldnt be worried about forward coaches and likes, communicating and guiding players is the best coach.

MM is to hard nosed for this role as for Brown, Gotch and McKenna, are any of these capable.

He barely turned it over today, maybe only a few times. Brilliant effort for 32 possies...very well done Rhyce and congrats. Love to see him and Johnno sprinting off that half back line. Johnno was very good today too, there were a few shining lights.

Shaw was the only player who looked like he would be disapointed if we lost, i didnt see much spirit from the rest of the guys, especially WILLIAMS, they have to get rid of him now

Shaw is a girl, got taught a lesson from Daniel Weels in round 4.
How dare the collingwood coaching staff put a little pussy on a star.
No respect

Yeh thats right. No respect for wells. Maybe because he has achieved nothing

Always prayed for Shaw to make it because of his pace and his name. He has far from made it yet but it is good to see him with some confidence back and even better to see a few knockers shut up for a while. It is only April though.
