Best Players at Collingwood:

Didak/Swan

MVP:

Didak/Cloke.

Interesting omissions:

Pendlebury
Jolly (unlikely to name him in his first season perhaps)
Himself (obvious though)

Thoughts?

I think Cloke is definitely important to the forward structure, as Shaw mentioned on Sunday Footy Show. I think he did miss a game recently through suspension and we played very well without him, but still really believe he adds a lot. If he kicked straight he'd be the best forward in the comp for mine, so can't go wrong there.

As far as 'best player', not sure whether he's going on overall output, natural skill or a mix of both. Either way I reckon Scott is both one of our best and MVP players.

Anywho..

Swan is our best player and Didak is probably our most naturally talented. I have no issue with his picks. We beat the Saints without Cloke so I think his importance is overstated a bit sometimes, I still prefer him in the team than out though.

Jolly is our most important player IMO. If he is out we are in big trouble. As for the best i Agree with Shaw on Swan and Didak, and u can put Pendles in as well.

I'd say he has under rated Pendles but he is close mates with the guys he has named and they aren't stretch. I do think Cloke's importance to the side is overstated sometimes although I do think we structurally look best when Cloke is playing well deep. Unfortunately he is not used in this role often enough.
