Can return has a part-time development coach but nothing else.

He chose to follow his own path when the Board told him not to during the supplement saga. Anyone who puts themselves ahead of the Club should not be allowed to return in a full coaching capacity.

He will forever be loved as a player but we need to bury his history as a coach.

So Robbo said on the SuperFooty podcast that Hird wants to coach Essendon again and speculated whether there would be a groundswell of support for Hird taking over if Woosha stuffs up and the club decides it needs changes. He said that those at the club would say he's never coaching at Essendon but thinks that the majority of the supporter group would support it.
