Sheedy says Collingwood have recruited best over last 2 years (thanks - the s man)

Kevin Sheedy stated in the Australian today when he was previewing the Collingwood vs Bandwagon Jumpers game that over the past two years Collingwood has recruited better than any other club. The bloke is a moron but it may be hard to disagree with him on this occasion. Even without going on a spending spree like the Saints, the Pies have chosen good solid players who are probably not superstars, but will provide a very good base for the club to be a force this year and in the future. As they say, a champion team will always beat a team of champions.

Let the dream live on - the Davis boys, Lonie, Molloy, Fraser, Didak (he'll be a gun), O'Bree and others to name but a few.

well considering essendons highest pick in the 2000 national draft was 17 and in 1999 it was about 60 and collingwood have had a priority pick and several in the top 10 wouldnt that just go with out saying that collingwood have recruited better than essendon and most others

Let's hope our 1999 Number 7 draft pick turns out to be as good as Judkins hopes. Danny Roach has been under the pump from the vast majority of hardened Woods supporters.

He has been under enormous expectations given that the number three draft pick was invlolved in the McKee/King trade. He didn't show much last year, but we Collingwood supporters are an impatient lot and DEMANDED that he be up to the same level of Josh Fraser, Paul Haselby, Matthew Pavlich and Green immediately. Heaven forbid the 17 year old might take time to adjust and develop!!!

He has been our best player for Williamstown this year and has righfully earned a spot.

Danny, kick some arse tonight and prove all of the knockers wrong.

I am salivating at the prospect of having two 191cm guns in Tarrant and Roach playing on opposte forward flanks. And we have a little fella to classily feed off the spills too...Alan Didak.

If Collingwood win tonight, we will all see firsthand what bandwagon jumping is all about. Collingwood wrote the original book on bandwagoning. Richmond read the book second and copied most of it.

Correct Walshy,even collingwood couldn`t stuff up picking players considering where they have been spending the last 6-7 years.Pinched our boy Judkins as well
