the great man kevin sheedy will be soon employed at the tigers as marketing manager, as well as his role the ambassador for the afl.

awesome if its true, I feel the off season to this year will make or break our club, either we will do really good in the draft and trade period or we will f##k up again and it will destroy our mighty club, but I will still be there every week Go Tiges 08.

If true would be ****ing fantastic. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

But imho far more likely to simple be an employee of the AFL for Indigenous development of sort.

Maybe it all depends on how he feels about our club, if he still loves the club then I think you're right he would work with anyone if it was to help the club, but if he is still an Essendon man and this is just another job for him then I couldn't see it happening.

methinks if we can hype up our centenary year enough (hopefully sheeds will play a key role in that) it might just be the thing to win us a finals berth.

We need him Back it would be great for the Club Come home Sheeds I Know you want Too!

A group of benevolent supporters, I believe, asked the club to get Sheedy in some capacity  and they would underwrite his expenses.

I think March met with him recently.

Incidentally, there has been a group of benevolent supporters who also wanted to sack Wallace.

Read what you will

PS: Watch out Wallace

I dont think this benevelant bunch would be doing us any favours. Sheeds is old and frankly, I dont believe the hype in his coaching genius.
He didn't want to come back to our club because he was a dyed in the wool Essendon man, I don't think this would of changed recently except for the promise of a fist full of dollars. He would be value add for marketing etc but once again its a case of us riding on the coat tails of another clubs hero. I know he played for us once but lets face it, Sheedy is Essendon through and through. Wallace is forcing us to have the recession we had to have to turn over the list, pain first, success later.

I agree with you, but try and convince some of these idiots who live in the past. They wanted Wallace gone last year and Sheedy in. They failed thanks to some strong leadership by the club, but they are gearing up for another go until he's finally gone.

They have no wish to see this club succeed. They want to sabotage at every opportunity.

Rumour on 3AW this morning at 7am.

If Richmond under-perform in the first third of the 2008 season, Plough will be sacked and replaced by Sheedy.

Obviously not a very reliable source, just passing it on.

What a heap of gobbledygook.

If Richmond do what they did at the start of this season Terry is ****ed no doubt but Sheeds wouldnt be in line already.

No way.

Kevin Sheedy will be coaching Richmond in the second half of next season
